The ideas in this book are very pertinent and timely for designers

I bought this book helping that it would be interesting or helpful. It was not. To be clear, almost every image in this book is available free, online, from the websites of the designers. It is very unclear if there is a real methodological tack here or if there is any insight on the part of the author/editors but it is more or less an assemblage of already well-known projects most of which fall into the category of "speculative-academic-outdated" rather than progressive or applied.

Solid book about indeterminate systems in landscape architecture and urban design. Extensive set of thought-provoking speculative projects and essays on design projects that use flexible frameworks (and beautiful drawings and diagrams). Very useful inspiration for projects that engage with topics of seasonal change, anthropogenic urban flows, and aquatic design themes, among others. About 20% of the book is viewable on the Bracket issuu page, but it's a lovely publication -worth the buy.
