Great Product - Outstanding Support from Outback Power Systems
We took a static hit and needed a new unit. Our Outback dual grid-interactive inverter/chargers, MATE and data port have been happily powering UrbanSurival.com since 2008. Damn fine system and great product support.

Beware as most pure sine inverters have this type of charge controller built in.
This is a high quality charge controller which I ended up buying two of. My pain concern is if you are unfamiliar with DC voltage and or MPPT this can be a tough install. Keep in mind, most pure sine inverters have the ability to charge at 80 amps and also have built in MPPT charging all in one unit. Furthermore, the price of Pure Sine Wave Inverters have dropped considerably. Don't get scammed by these fly by night solar companies. They're a dime a dozen and you could end up with a lean on your home title. Solar panels used to be on average approximately $1. per watt. Not any more. Now they're close to half that price. In addition, don't back feed into the grid. Especially in Florida (The Sunshine State) where they pay you wholesale pricing for your production yet charge both your neighbors full retail for power they had no part into the back feed. As for this charge controller as with most OutBack products are high quality until you begin to read through the owner's manual. Hope this helps someone understand behind this.....sort of like the Leaf Filter, where are all the leaves going to end up? All over the side of your home.

This is basically a router to send peripheral measurement data to the specialty computer (MATE3). Unfortunately because my Mate3 is stuck in a perpetual boot cycle I dont know if this is actually working. But I am going to assume it is. Three Stars because I think it is way overpriced for what should be a simple Router.

My only problem with it is how hard it is to see the tiny light that shows which HDMI is active.

Mean time between failures terrible.
I'm on my 3rd one. I checked my past orders and they fail close to every 2 years. Overpriced junk. I called tech support and asked them if they had a policy of buy 3 get 1 free. They gave me no credit.

Won't have it hooked up till spring, but all the OutBack products are good.
