Blood Sugar Sex Magik

This is a great book for anyone who plays guitar and loves this album. It has every song from the album on tabs AND standard notation. Easy to read and accurate transcriptions. A must if you are interested in learning to play these songs.

The tab contains all of the songs and seems to be pretty accurate. It helps to learn the songs and with some practice this is possible.

I'm glad this exists because BSSM was my favorite album from them and it's been way too long since I've listened to it. It's been a blast just diving into it and studying it.

I can't find any mistakes or inconsistencies in either the tabs or the notation. It has both tabs and musical notation for every track. There's nothing to complain about; it's exactly what it says it is.

I've owned this book TWICE as a testament to how much I enjoyed the creations of John Fruciante. It's probably the best book for a new beginner to guitar as it covers such a variety of styles and methods but maybe I'm biased having heard it my whole life?

This is a great tab book if you like challenging guitar riffs and solos, its not all difficult and has a lot of jimi hendrix saturated type guitar.....and its funky also i love it clinton

Pretty spot on with most songs but there are definitely some errors. For example, it has the opening riff for under the bridge going from variations of Cmaj chord to EMaj chord when the true version goes from Dmaj using a CAGED open C chord to F#maj. The version in the book is definitely easier to play but not the true way John plays it. That made me skeptical about the accuracy of the rest of the book.

Very useful to learn some of the finer points of this great record. One star deducted for trying to teach Under The Bridge with a capo, learn it properly, it will benefit all of your guitar playing. Overall, it's a well set out book, with faithful readings of John's guitar parts and Flea's bass lines.
