I recently purchased the Govee TV LED backlight, and I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed. Not only does it add a vibrant and dynamic ambiance to my viewing area, but it also enhances the overall entertainment experience in ways I hadn't thought.Installation was so easy, just stick around the TV, and plug into the usb port. The adhesive strips on the back of the LED strips adhered well to the back of my TV, and the included clips helped to keep the wires organized and out of sight. Within minutes, I had the lights set up and ready to go.What really sets the Govee TV LED backlight apart is its versatility. The remote control allows me to effortlessly adjust the colors, brightness, and lighting effects to suit my mood or the content I'm watching. At the time of this review I bought these for £10.99. I have had previously bought cheaper generic ones off ebay and the build quality was poor and it use to lock up on a colour which was annoying as I like to transition through colours, half the buttons on the controller never worked and I had to point it at the controller box no more than 5cm away for it to work.Yesterday my new 4k TV arrived for the bedroom and thought I'd replace the LED's and after much research I decided on these for not far off what I paid on EBAY previously for unbranded ones.Let me tell you this set up for the price is a steel, corners are thought of which was not my last set and come with a little excess which is brilliant, alcohol wipe included which I did not need on a new TV, 5 3m clips and a very well put together control box which feels solid.For running off the TV 5v USB these are as bright as you will get and some one here with the bad review is a little clueless. My job includes RGB a lot nowadays as everyone wants it in there computers and these are spot on.As I said TV is new so super clean and everything has stuck perfectly, I have used zip ties on any excess wire.Application was on the IOS store and was very easy to set up and with the colour transitions I wanted and I am super pleased with the quality of this product for the price. DAM TV looks amazing.Now please GOVEE get the Govee Dreamcolour WiFi Television Backlights Kit I have seen on youtube listed for a 40" TV and you get my money straight away!

Arrived on time,well packed.I downloaded the app scrolled through the various lights, found mine and connected per blue tooth immediately, no problem at all.After testing that the lights functioned I unplugged it so I could attach it to the back of my TV.I put two of the extra clasps on the top of the TV, one in each corner. Now I could test hang the strip until I found the right position so that the lights were where I wanted them.Peeling the cover off the adhesive was a bit tricky for my fat fingers but I managed to peel each one without ruining the adhesive strip. I pressed the spaces between the LEDs until I felt that they had stuck.The whole process took a matter of a few minutes.The range of colours is very good imo. I won't use the presets as playing with the phone app gives me more than enough choices.I agree with other reviews that its not the brightest but if you are happy with a mood or scene setter (as I am) the light is more than good for those roles. It certainly enhances the viewing experience.I am very happy with this purchase. Ease of installation, ease of use and a very good end result all at a very low cost is a win for me. A great introduction to TV backlights.

Things I like- Best feature perhaps is the Govee app and control from your mobile, you can set timers , change colours, and plenty of options from your mobile- helps you set a smart system in the house with other govee lights and all can be controlled via your app, compared to other lights I foudn annoying that you had to use a remoted where as in this case it has mobile/blutooth controls or there is an attached control panel-Light is really bright and and have been using for a feew months with no difference what so ever-very easy to stick, come swith connecters for easy turns.-stick quality is really good, compared to other lights I have used, does not come offThings I dont like-you can get longer lentgh ones for similar price on amazon , if you need more length then it cna be pricey compared to competitors-cable only come sin white, it would be nice to have an option of black as would blend in with alot of setups easier.all said, would recommend it and would buy more when needed.

I didn't pay attention to the add and was a bit dissapointed that they were not cimpatible with Alexa or have wifi. But then that was my error. Based on the bluetooth app controlled lights and not compared to what I thought I was buying..... these are great if you want lighting at an affordable price that seem more expensive.The app was easy to set up and use although I didn't know which to select from the list. Then when it couldn't find the one I chose it gave me to option to scan for divice. Why no just have that option? Anyway, it found the lights and connected to them without any issue.I love the amount of colours and mood available. You can do diy mode and make your own sequence programme. You can also view and download other peopkes that have submitted their programed diy for use by others.some are rubbish in my opinion but we are all different. There was a nice haloween one that someone had made. Gentle relaxing changes from purple, though greens into res, then blue back to greens. Slow fades and the light dark of the different colours complimented each other so the light in the room barely changed in brightness. Allowing those who suffer migraines easily through harsh lighting and brightness changes to benefit. I recommend these. My TV is not flat behind. Some juts out which was harder to place lights on. Then there was navigating the wored connection ports like hdmi. You can't place the cable just anywhere areound the TV. But that is true for many tv I'm sure.

The Govee TV Led Backlight functions as described but they are not as bright as expected, which is rather disappointing to see.The installation instructions are also not very clear either, resulting in some difficulty setting them up which can be quite time consuming.However, with that being said, the lights are easy to connect to the Govee app on your mobile device through Bluetooth connection, with a variety of options for customisation.In conclusion, the Govee TV Led Backlight does exactly as described, however it’s worth noting there could be several improvements made.

Bought these lights around 18 months ago and they’ve been fabulous. Put them in the back of one of my office monitors just for a bit of fun and have totally loved them. They were easy to install and have always worked faultlessly.I’ve got quite a few sets of Govee LED strips and do keep on adding to my collection! Husband thinks I’m nuts but secretly loves the ambiance these pretty little lights create.Very recently, my monitor set developed an issue and wouldn’t work. On a wild impulse I contacted Govee through their App and sent them a video of my problem. I was advised that my lights were out of warranty but that as a gesture of goodwill they would sort a partial refund. Their Customer Service has been excellent. Thank you June! I did not pay a vast sum for these lights but that small gesture has ensured that I will buy again from Govee. In fact I’ve got a couple of new LED light sets in my basket waiting to be purchased.The Govee app is really good, and I’m collecting points so I can exchange them for more lights amazingly!If you love your LED lights then these will not disappoint!I would like to be able to buy a separate Govee WiFi controller and power pack so that I can utilise any spare sections which are cut off. Govee if you read this please sort out as you are missing a huge sales bonus here! And I’m fed up of throwing away decent off-cuts.I’ve tried another make of Widi controller which was didn’t work and was returned for a full refund.

Govee is a big brand in LED lights. However the price is fantastic (from a big brand) and you get piece of mind knowing it’s from Govee. Bought for our TV (obviously) which is pride of place on the media wall and the lights make such a difference and are easy to control from your phone. Loads of different presets like Movie or Gaming and you can even create your own mood style. Very easy to install and the controller has a handy padded sticker to put on the back of your TV to keep wires out of sight. We have other Govee lights and you can sync them up together easily on the app. Highly recommend.

Lights works fine but not bright.Cant connect to bluetooth mode on app at all so pretty much useless
