For the average consumer and for the price range this is great. However...If you are a gamer or are picky about video quality, this may not be the projector for you.This is probably one of the better $150 or below price range projectors I've tested and you do get what you pay for but the one flaw that I couldn't deal with is the screen tearing / refresh rate. This is most prominent when using any video sources that are 1080p at 60 hertz. It's not as bad when using a 720P source, only noticed a slight skip in between a couple of frames at a time, no screen tearing at this resolution.**** A dumb down version is that what you are watching will not be as smooth as you would see on a typical television.Pros: Cheap, better than most projectors in the price range, true 720p resolution, pretty easy to use, brighter than most projectors in the price range (about 300 ANSI lumens if i had to guess) at a throw range of about 10ft, colors are not too bad. Huge screen :). Response rate not too bad either.Cons:* keystone adjustment is a manual mechanism from start to finish (there is an actual mirror inside that is adjusted manually), depending on the keystone adjustment, only the center will be in focus, corners will be very blurry (top, bottom, or both). I've noticed this isn't perfect on any projector but this one has to be one of the worst.* does not process 1080p video sources well at all so don't even bother unless you don't mind screen tearing and refresh rate issues.

I bought this to replace another projector that went out on us, and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Some things to note:1. Batteries are not included with the remote and it takes 2 AAA2. When using the projector with an SD card, you will need an adapter for micro SD (used for GoPros and other similar devices)3. Works great with a firestick4. The image quality is fantastic, it is much better than my previous projector5. Everything that is listed is provided in the box6. Read the instructions, it’s a pretty straightforward setup but go ahead and read through them so you know what you’re doingLastly, just enjoy your new projector! I saw some interesting reviews on here about the quality, but I’m posting a video which will walk you through the whole thing!

I'm really happy with the projector. Note that this is not quite a mini projector, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I have a mini projector that I bought at best buy, and this one blows it out of the water. However, the mini projector is a lot smaller, so it really depends on what you plan on using it for.We tested it on our ceiling using the Nintendo switch to play Mario kart. We didn't notice any lag and the video was really clear at ~70" diagonally at ~10 ft away. Haven't fully tested it at it's limits yet, but I imagine it will be clear at much larger sizes.I was really impressed with the options on the projector. There are options to rotate the image, reduce the size of the image, and adjust the color. There are two dials: one to focus and one to tilt the image. At first, I had trouble getting it to work until I realized by pressing the 's' button on the projector that I could change it to the correct input.I think it's really nice that they provide an adapter to work with older video outputs (rca) and that there's an input for an sd card. My only complaint is that I wish the included power cord and HDMI cable were longer, but extension cords and using other HDMI cables can easily remedy that. And at least it did come with an HDMI cable. It should also be noted that batteries for the remote are not included, but that's not a big deal to me.Overall, I'm happy with the product and so excited to get a large projector screen and do outdoor summer backyard movie nights!

I don't know if I'd say this is exactly mini, but that isn't a bad thing. When I think of a mini projector I think of those ones that are like the size of a soda can. This is decent size and I'd say it has a lot better picture quality than a super small one too. My room is decently dark, not pitch black, but not super light either and the clarity of the picture was really good and it was plenty bright. The zooming and focusing works as intended to get the preferred picture.Edit: within three days of using the bulb seems to have died or something. Contacted customer support and they don't seem to care.Also, really happy with how portable it is. It isn't very heavy and so I can pack it with me to friend's houses! The sound and speaker on it is definitely surprisingly good!

Why I purchased it: I am having a little backyard celebration and I needed a projector to play some homemade videos of friends and family over the years. I was going to rent one but to rent one for the day here was going to be $50. I figured for the price, if I use it more than twice it would pay for itself.Setup: Setup was very easy and straight forward, took less than 10 minutes to unbox and setup. This has many ports, the main port for me was the HDMI. I hooked it up to my laptop and with minor configuration it was up and running. I tested it with some personal videos and youtube videos on my white wall.Picture Quality: The picture quality for this is very good, don't expect theater quality but definitely good enough to play a movie at home in the backyard. The color was deep and the picture was sharp.Brightness: This was bright enough to use indoor during the day with curtains drawn or outdoor once the sun starts to set.Value: Overall for the price, I'm very happy with the purchase, it is a good value for the money. I only need to use it a few times to "make it worth it".

I was pretty excited to test this monitor out but when it arrived. It did get here next day which was amazing and made me even more excited to get home and try it. Sadly the unit did not even turn on. I tested different outlets and with a surge protector but the unit still refused to turn on. I guess I will be returning this and searching for another projector.
