I need to control a group of three fans from a single motherboard PWM header, and this splitter cable works perfectly. Connections are solid and stable, and the color and jacketing even match the fan wiring. This is a great answer when fan wiring doesn't support a daisy chain connection.

One of the three connectors is a full 4-pin that reports the fan speed back to the motherboard, while the other two are 3-pin (they still get the 4-pin PWM signal for speed control). Used to power an extra fan on a PC with limited fan headers. The main connector is well labeled and goes to the master fan to receive data and power from the existing header. I connected another fan to one of the 2 remaining splitter ends and it worked right away, duplicating the speed of the master fan. A very convenient way to add fans and airflow if there are limited fan headers on the motherboard. Connectors are all good quality, highly recommended.

works perfectly in situations where extra power isn’t required. RPM measurement comes from the fan plugged into the socket with all 4 pins, all connectors are black so double check this if you need to know which fan is the one being reported. Quality is just fine, the single end where all cores are combined is a bit stiff as expected but not enough to be a problem.

Exactly what I needed, added a couple of fans to my Acer Nitro 50, needed a splitter, don't forget that you only get one 4 pins and two 3 pins connector so plug your fans accordingly. Quality seems good and it worked flawlessly.
