Better Houseware 2409 Magnetic Double Towel Bar, Stainless

Really practical to put in the side of your fridge.Well made and the magnets are strong .

After trying several types of hand towel / drying towel holders in my small kitchen this beats them all! I needed a holder that could be put higher up then the over the cabinet ones because my two big dogs would rub against anything low. Everything I seemed to find in the stores was for the bathroom and big. I love that it holds two towels which is a great for me! It stays put even with the use of a heavier weight towel. Does leave black marks if moved as the other reviewers said but it wipes of easily and honestly I don't plan on moving it much anyhow. I think if it scratches your fridge it's because your dragging it off instead of lifting. At first I was a bit worried because the round circles that are the magnets are way bigger in person than in the picture so I thought it might stick out like a sore thumb but it blends right in. I've actually gotten several compliments from friends and family who now want it for their kitchen!!

This towel bar met my expectations. It works well in a very small cabin kitchen. The magnets are more than strong enough to hold a wet towel and dishcloth. The built-in prongs hold the bar out from the frig door to allow both sides of the towel to dry and to prevent damage to the frig. My only complaints are that the closeness of the two bars don't allow enough room between for 2 towels to dry quickly and that the bars could be a little wider.

I finally found a product that lives up to its claim of heavy magnets which do not harm my refrigerator surface. I have a stainless steel refrigerator with black texture on each side. I have used this product for several months, and I am very pleased with its sturdy and simple build. The double rack, one rack is thinner in width than other, is just what I needed. I can hide the magnetic towel rack on the side of the refrigerator, out of sight. The towels dry out very well after I have used them, and placed back on the rack. There is very little displacement of the rack when I use it. The two large magnets which hold the rack are nice and sturdy. This was a great buy, and solved the problem of lack of space in my kitchen.

These towel bars work great! I have one on the front of my fridge and one on the side of my stacked washer dryer, and they are so convenient. I read other reviews where people said they moved or they scratched their fridge etc, but I didn't have either problem, they have stayed exactly where I first placed them. The one thing I did before I put these on the appliances was I cleaned the area with windex, as the magnets are very powerful, and I can see how if there was any grit under them then yes, they could easily scratch the surface they are on.

I had a dish towel hanging on a cabinet door at our sink, and when I would stand too close, the towel would often get knocked off. It finally dawned on me that, to solve that problem, I could get a magnetic towel holder and put it on the fridge. Since I already have a paper towel holder just like this, I knew that the magnets would be good and strong, and they are. The double holder is kind of useless since two towels would touch, and I don't want my hand towel touching my dish towel. Another reviewer said that it would be nice if the towel rods were separated more so that wouldn't happen, and I agree. I'm very happy with this product, and recommend it to others who need a towel rack with super strong magnets.

Very happy with this purchase. After reading reviews from other buyers, I was a little leery about purchasing. Glad I did! Fits nicely to the side of my stainless steel refrigerator with black textured sides. I mention this, cause I would not recommend using the magnets on actual stainless steel. However, with having the textured black sides to mine, I have no problem with placing it on the side of my fridge. Does not slide at all when placing or removing my kitchen towel like some buyers had mentioned. Maybe I got lucky! I will note, I do not use for two towels like the product states it holds because the placement of the bars would mean the bottom towel would be against your fridge. This may work for some, but not for me. My kitchen hand towels measure 15" in width when opened, so by folding in half the rack easily holds a 7.5" towel. If towel is left opened and hung, then it is a little scrunched up and not as attractive looking. I note that, because one buyer said the rack was not even capable of holding a handkerchief! I don't know what size hand towels the buyer may be using, but I found with most standard sized kitchen towels, this isn't the case. In closing, it is what it is............a magnetic towel rack and I like mine very much.

I love the idea of this product, because I too have no room for a towel rack. The magnets on the product seem very strong, however it very slowly slides down the fridge, even without being touched. I never see it moving but I wake up every morning and have to slide it back up a few inches. If I put 2 towels on it like they show in the picture, then it slides even faster. I did give it 3 stars because even with the annoying sliding I will keep this product. I need a towel rack, and like I said it seems really strong when I pull on it, so I am not sure what causes the sliding. I would not put this product on the front of my stainless steel fridge, just in case the sliding causes marks (it hasn't yet.)

Obviously very simple to install. However the magnets are too weak and so the holder slides down the surface, even with you items hanging. It is not even remotely fit for purpose

porte serviette aimanté , vraiment aimanté, tient parfaitement sur ma machine à laver. Il a 2 barres, ce qui est très pratique. Côté qualité, il a l'air pas mal, à voir à l'usage, mais apparemment il est bien fini. Pour le côté déco, il est sobre mais efficace, ce qui est le principal. Je recommande ce produit.

Works as described. Won't hold up more than 2 thin tea towels

Great magnetic strength. Just wish the two bars had more separation.
