We purchased this Benjamin Franklin costume for our 8-year-old’s 3rd grade wax museum project, and it was an absolute hit! The costume arrived looking exactly as advertised, capturing the iconic style of one of America’s Founding Fathers with remarkable attention to detail. My son is approximately 46 inches tall and weighs 64 lbs and the medium fit very well.We used it for a colonial day project in class, then added some gears, chains, etc. and converted it into a steampunk Halloween costume.While the material is pretty basic costume material, it has held up well through a very active Halloween, the colonial day project, and we even lent it out to friends for their colonial day projects too. We are going to hang on to it to use the pieces for other costumes in the future as well.

My son's presentation at his school was great, but the costume is very hot and quality is good.

My kid loved it. We're trying to kit-bash it to make it work as an Eddie Munster costume. We'll see how that goes but regardless, he loved it out of the box. It's very heavy material so if you live in a warm weather area when Halloween comes around, it may be too hot to stay in for school parades or even trick or treating. Do order up one if not two sizes. I ordered up one size from those listed on the size chart and we'll be lucky to get one year out of this thing. We're hoping to convert it back to Ben Franklin when historical Americans project comes up later in the school year.

The costume itself was some real sturdy and well made quality fabric. My 10 year old got a size medium for a school play. She is petite and can wear a size 7-8 and unfortunately the jacket part of the costume didn’t fit her as it was too small in the shoulder area. Otherwise, the costume was amazing, wish she could have worn it! Would definitely recommend.

Better than expected. My seven year old looked great and the medium fit perfect. (46 inches, around 50 lbs or so). This costume was perfect for a Ben Franklin presentation at school. He looked better than most of the other kids.I also got the socks, shoe covers, and the wig (sold separately). I got some glasses too but they are so large I let him just use his own. The shoe covers were constantly shedding the buckle. So in future I would glue them on.

Fit as described. Take note, does not come with a wig. Not stretchy.
