The view is great from our Meow Town kitty window perch. Soft berber mat in natural beige, padded and machine-washable, sits atop adjustable white metal legs that fit a variety of window sizes and styles. Sturdy unit assembles without tools and attaches securely with Velcro strip for hours of napping or bird watching. Holds up to 13-pounds weight. Measures 24-inch length by 12-inch width. Review: Not as advertised and defective. - The legs were not the same as pictured (more like angled, metal bookshelf supports). I decided to try it anyway, but then the screws' threads did not match the female threads and I could not back them out. Returned! I knew there was a reason the price was so cheap, you get what you pay for. It only gets 1-star as I was able to get my money back. Review: Had high hopes after reading the reviews but... - The directions are straightforward. Once we put it up, the perch wasn't sticking down as much as to the ledge as it could have it, even though we followed the directions. We carefully tested it with both young cats (about 17 pounds of weight) and it held, so we felt okay leaving it up while we both went to work the next day. Unfortunately, when we came home, it had fallen to the floor, the velcro still stuck to the window ledge and a wedge of particle board had come out. Don't know what the issue was but it didn't work for us. Had high hopes as the cats love looking out this window and i wanted my arm chair back for myself.

Meow Town Kitty Window Perch
My cat weights about 12 lbs & loves to look out the window. The velcro had to be changed after a short time because it was not secure enough. My cat feel off this perch. I would suggest to secure it with bolts or nails. I didn't want to do that. It took a while for my cat to go on it again but he does now & it's still holding up strong.

Good and Safe~!!
My cats loved it~!! At first, I thought this could be unsafe because of the velcro. But my fears that this might fall proved to be unfounded. My cats weights are 4.2kg, 5.7kg, 6.2kg but still, this product strongly attached to the windowsill.

Sturdy and attractive - Jasper loves it!
My cat Jasper loves to watch the birds in my garden. I had a big cat tree in place in front of the window, but only the top level was being used, and it took up a huge amount of space, so I thought I should just get Jasper a window ledge. He's not a huge cat, but he's a little heavy, so I was concerned with finding something sturdy enough to hold him. I wasn't sure if this velcro strip would keep the seat secure enough, but so far so good. The window ledge was extremely simple to put together. I think it took 3 minutes. The seat cover is very attractive, and I like that it can be removed for washing. The supports have clear rubber pieces strategically placed to keep your walls from being scratched. So setup was quick and easy, and I like the way the ledge looks. The big test, of course, is whether the cat will like it. Jasper does not like to be picked up and placed anywhere but has to find things in his own time. I decided to take him over to the new window seat to see if he would accept the suggestion. He got all excited, immediately got on it and started kneading the plush seat cover. Then he did some birdwatching. Then he fell asleep on it. This is a ringing endorsement indeed! So in short, this is an attractive, sturdy and convenient window seat. It's, very easy to set up, it's a real spacesaver, and the cat obviously loves it. I highly recommend it.

It fell apart 3 days after I hung it. I was very disappointed. It scared my cats when it fell apart. The particle board crumbled

Measurement crucial; cat has yet to weigh in.
The only negative I have is that it depends for stability on a very strong adhesive strip, so it's not really very mobile if you later change your mind about which window sill you want it to be positioned. My cat unimpressed, but maybe that will change with time. I don't know what she does when I'm not in the room with her. When I am, she likes trampling the keyboard. The main problem is that our window sills are EXTREMELY narrow, and do not provide sufficient surface for the adhesive strip. Works fine if you open the window and prop it at an angle.

My kitties love the perch
Unfortunately, this perch did not stay on our windowsill. After it fell down three times with a kitty on it, I took it to the recycle bin and threw it away. After only a few weeks! I have another one on another window sill in the bedroom next door, and it has been there 7 years. It looks the same, and attaches the very same way, but the brand name is different. My kitties love the perch, so I was very disappointed. Can't be sure if it is the new perch or the windowsill, but realized this one was just not going to work.
