My boyfriend is a butcher and processor. He does a lot of work with knives and these are the Best Buy yet. Easy to clean, sturdy and no cuts. As much as they are beaten to the core everyday, after a wash they still look new. Great buy, I recommend.

I use this style of glove at my job all the time and have used several different brands over 15+ years, so I decided to purchase some of this brand for use at home, as well as some smaller sizes for my children. This description said they run small, so I was a bit concerned on what size to order. I always use medium at my job and have never used any other size. The mediums on this brand run very large, they are comparable to size larges in several of the other brands, so they are far too big for me to use, they are almost too large for my husband who wears a size large. The size small I got does fit me, so it is comparable to a size medium in other brands. The x-small size I got for my older child are barely smaller than the size small, literally about 1/8" difference in finger length, so will not work for her at all currently, but she will eventually grow into them. The overall quality is great and what I expected, but the sizing does not run true at all, and the ones I got, run very large compared to other brands. Many other reviewers say they run small in size, so it appears that it depends on when the gloves were made or maybe it comes down to sheer luck on what you end up with. They do what they are meant to do, so I am impressed with that, and the cost is great. But the sizing is not true at all and seems to be all over the board.

Lets you filet without the finger cuts.

These are great for kitchen use, shucking oysters, carving and having 10 fingers. So incredibly much cheaper than a hospital bill. Not having these is just pure foolish. Buy some and the first time you realize that without them you’d have just gotten cut, you’ll thank me. I even use them when splitting kindling for my fireplace.

I have been looking at these gloves for years,Since Rachael Ray mentioned them on a program. I finally bought them for my seven-year old sous-chef. She loves them. The fit is excellent. We both like the confidence it gives her in handling a knife. I like the fact that she is protected while learning an essential life skill. They are course but not rough it seems which helps her keep the knife in her hand. No slipping with watery vegetables like tomatoes or cucumber.

Just received these gloves. They are well made and have a sturdy feel to them. I washed them as they will be in contact with food and they washed very nicely in a bag in the washing machine. I line dried them and they are just fine. The fit is also good. I was afraid they would be baggy and I would hesitate to use them, but they fit well (and the sizing measurement aid worked). I would recommend this product to save knuckles and fingers in the kitchen (and also for whittling!)

Love the fit and comfort of these gloves; however, the material is slippery and too slick, making it impossible to hold items securely in your hand. I use my gloves for wood carving, and ended up using an old rubber coated garden glove over this cut resistant glove to allow for safe gripping.
