Sorry, but no you can't. The transmitter will adapt to the best possible codec the receiving unit is capable to. If you i.e. have a bluetooth AptX Low Latency headphone, it will transmit that particular codec. Since it is a digital product this codec is decided upon in the 'handshake' those 2 units do when connecting digitally.
