In our house, the T701 Digital Non-Programmable Thermostat was installed 13 years ago and had a 5-year warranty. It started malfunctioning, so we bought the same model. To my surprise, I didn't have to disassemble the base (where all the wires are); I only removed the faceplate of the thermostat and replaced it with the new one. Now everything is working properly. Very happy and satisfied!

This was a rush buy due to use hitting 100 degree weather so early and not realizing that our display was not working anymore. It wouldn’t let us select our temp any lower than 85. So we looked up on Amazon to see if he could find a match and ran across this one. Due to all the good reviews and people saying it was easy to install we said screw it and purchased. Came in today 03/20 and we installed it in less than 5 minutes. It honestly doesn’t take that long either except we forgot you had to take the back part off the display to place it on. So for a while we were so bummed that we still ended up getting the wrong model yet this kept saying it was the right model. I then remembered reading a comment saying you have to remove the back part and that was exactly what needed to be done. It popped on like a charm. We’ve turned on our Ac and have started it up so far so good. We hope this lasts us a long while since will be brining in a new born in June and we really don’t want any AC problems this summer. We hit the high 100s and we depend on it. Thank you guys for a quick delivery and so far great product. Only reason for the 4 stars is because the product box came fully opened and damaged.

Very easy installation and works perfectly with our furnace

If you don't want to spend your life running around charging things on your comuter, this is the FINEST thermostat. 5 GOLD Stars. Simple: On/Off and Heat/Cold. Only two decisions to make. Takes two batteries which last a LONG time but I had an electrician hardwire it in. This is my second--#1 lasted 5 years and probably still had life left but I didn't want to chance it wearing out. For the money and if you cherish a hassle-free life, this is for you.

I purchased this for my mom who’s in her 70s and was having a hard time seeing the display on her old thermostat. She loves this one and has zero complaints. The light is bright, the numbers are big, and she can easily see the temperature without squinting or struggling. Simple, straightforward, and perfect for anyone who just wants to adjust the temp without all the extra tech stuff. Definitely recommend for seniors or anyone needing a clear display.
