Perfect for chicks!
Heard about this from a homesteader on YouTube who has chickens. She said it was great for baby chickens you get in the mail. I got my chicks from a store, and still used these. I mixed it in a gallon of spring water and a dash of ACV and the chicks look great and strong! I’ll continue it for a while I think, as brooding and rejoining outside can be stressful for chicks.

so being able to order on Amazon and have it delivered within 2 days is great. We will continue to purchase this to ensure ...
In the midwest, it tends to get very, very hot in the summer. We have 8 silkie bantam chickens and 2 rhode island reds. We want to be able to rehydrate them and make sure they do not lose needed minerals and vitamins in the summer. Our littles chicks don't seem to even notice the extra added boost we give them taste wise, but they do seem to stay hydrated and healthy even on the hottest days. We don't have a close feed store that carries this, so being able to order on Amazon and have it delivered within 2 days is great. We will continue to purchase this to ensure our chickens are the happiest and healthiest they can be.

Baby chicks should have this.
We live in the mountains where the heatwave has been unreal. This has helped our chicks deal with that heat. Good value too. Quick delivery.

A must for your chicken first aid kit!
Everyone should have this Sav-A-Chick in their chicken first aid kit! If your chicken/chickens seem at all under the weather, not looking or acting as perky as they normally do, this is your first line of defense. Some chicken owners immediately give antibiotics which is as big a mistake with chickens as it is with humans. I have had a couple of my chickens not seem quite themselves and given this for one day and they perked up. I had one with a swollen eye and given this to him and the next day his eye was normal again. In the hot summer months if they seem overheated, and chickens do get overheated in hot weather, give them Sav-A-Chick and they will perk up again right away, I have seen it many times. Everyone who cares about their pet chickens should have this!

Not Practical for Amount/Cost
Good to have this on hand, but you don't get much in the packet. These same packets can be purchased much cheaper than what I paid in a farm store. One can also purchase a larger bag that would last much longer.
