Fire Barrier Sealant, 10.1 oz., Gray

Had to get a framing inspection before proceeding with basement finish. Main thing they look for locally is fire blocking. After the inspector saw how I had done the FB including using this product he made the comment that I must have done this before. Excellent job he said. Easy to apply. Just don't cut off too much of the tip. I use a nail to seal tip which makes it easy to go back and continue to use days later.

I had to use this fireguard caulk to fill 6 feet (sides and above) of a 3/8 inch gap between sheetrock and the frame in a furnace enclosure and was worried this would slide down, but it stayed in place really well. The spreadability was smooth. Happy with purchase.
