Naphcon A Eye Allergy Relief Drops, 15 mL

If spring and fall hayfever happens, this is your answer for the red itchy swollen eyes that accompany that. It soothes your eyes and make ya human again. I tried these cuz getting my regular brand was impossible. Different name but same relief. A lot of the older tried and true brands are disappearing which is annoying. I asked my pharmacist what a good substitute would be and he recommended these. They moisturize, last long, don't burn, and WORK.

Years ago, I used a product called Vasocon-A for my eyes when they got red or itchy. Then they stopped making it. You find something that really works, and they stop making it. After doing some research I found out that Naphcon A contained the same ingredients as Vasocon-A. I got this and it was instant relief for my tired, itchy eyes. I just cannot recommend this product highly enough. I love stuff that works first time -- every time -- right out of the box. AAA+++

Works well for me as I do graphics now as an obsession. I had thought I ordered two bottles but I may have botched that.

Vaseline allergy eye drops has been discontinued and these are a good alternative with the same ingredients list. It’s not exactly the same but as close as you can get.

Product works. Eyes were itching, burning and watering like I was crying nonstop. This stopped it and in 2-3 minutes at the most. I could actually feel relief and I felt like I could see without dabbing my eyes or ice packs . I used the product when it arrived and again at home after showering and cleaning my face. I could not even use mascara-nothing could touch my eyes but ice packs. I feel normal and my eyes are clear and not grainy. Yes, there is a bit of a sting, however I feel that it is in direct relation to how much you have been rubbing and touching your eyes. No worse than eye drops when your eyes are red. Follow the directions and you might want to smell a flower or two….

I have a chronic eye irritation that causes my eye to water quite badly and itch significantly. I have tried several products such as Clear Eyes and Thera Tears. The Clear Eyes to remove the red and Thera Tears to moisturize. That worked somewhat but lately the eye had gotten a bit worse so I did a search and saw the product reviews for Naphcon-A. I saw some very superlative reviews that gave me hope but they also made me suspect because they were so superlative. I thought, "Can this actually be that much better than these other more well known products?". The answer is yes, it can. It is actually quite an amazing amount of difference. It seems to moisturize and lubricate better than any other product I've used so much so that the area that my eye that was being irritated no longer bothered me and it was an instantaneous relief as well. These other reviewers weren't wrong. I did see some reviews that mentioned that the drops tended to burn but I found the burning sensation to be less than with Visine or Clear Eyes. So, in conclusion, the 5 star reviews on this product are true. Now, what do I do with all these little bottles of other eye drops? LOL!
