Danava

Having never heard Danava before, I was introduced to them by the engima that is Phillip Anselmo (Down,Pantera) via an online video of a live show with both band and Phil. I have to say this album is pretty mind blowing very "proggy" with a nod of the head towards to the glory days of classic rock. Fans of Witchcraft and Sabbath will really like this sound, they play with blues riff's and progressive time signatures. If you like the seventies rock revival that is happening recently (namely tunes minus pro-tools and vocal enhancing software) then you will love this. If you like the snippets of sound's available on the internet, then buy the album it's great keep music alive buy cd's, vinyl etc.

Sin lugar a dudas es el mejor disco de Danava. La espera y el precio han merecido la pena. Un auténtico acierto.

This album kicks your ass so hard it knocks you down, kicks you back up again and then melts your face off!!!! Love this album!!!

This album attacks you from different directions but its a pleasent assault. Your hit with a host of influences you can almost call out as you listen. For example you get shades of B.O.C., Hawkwind and even hints of Sweet, Deep Purple and Beatles. Great guitar riffin' blend with the cool synthesizer swirls and real Poppy vocal stylings. A great debut but the second album "Unonou" is a lot more focused and might go down easier. Dont miss out on some fun music that takes you back to the days of vinyl and album covers you can roll on.

Could not be more metal.
