for the most part these cotton swabs are of good quality and are durable. A few of them came a little loose but these work like your standard cotton swabs and look very neutral and aesthetic on your dresser or vanity with your beauty products.

I never thought I would write a glowing review of cotton swabs, but Homefox swabs exceeded my expectations. The cotton holds its shape and never unravels, and they are available with a variety of different tips. The flat and pointed tips are excellent for makeup application. And whether you use the spiral tips for grooming or crafts, they perform admirably, leaving no residue behind. Also, the black ones are pretty darn chic for cotton swabs.

Pro: black color, can see the nasty stuff it swap out. Con: uneven size tip head, not a big deal but some of them are too large for my ear canal

I find it difficult to find black isopes and these have been my salvation, they work well and for the price come many.

Aesthetically, I prefer having black cotton swabs, and used to need to go to or special-order them from Muji, but thrilled that I've been able to purchase an Amazon dupe for the last several years. They have tiny ridges, which give the swab some shaping beyond "swab bulb". The swabs are very firm and they don't pop off the swab stem, and aren't too linty. The black color doesn't transfer onto anything. I recommend them if you're looking for basic black cotton swabs!
