This is a great baby soap. It smells pleasant, lathers well and mostly importantly gets your baby clean without leaving them too dry. The ingredient list is quite healthy. I'm a fan. I've also used this on my pets with great success. My cat and dog both were washed with this. Their skin wasn't irritated, they weren't red looking nor did they have an allergic reaction to the product. I find this to be far better than anything actually for pets. For a small pet this bottle last quite a while. The larger pets you'd need to use more of it more so considering how dirty they can get. Overall for my family's needs this has been a very great buy.

I’m a 30 yr old woman with very sensitive skin, eczema, and dermatitis. Even Castile soap makes my scalp burn. I have tried many shampoos but all have caused scalp irritation almost immediately. Luckily I found this shampoo. It has a very nice, natural type of scent, which I love. It has never caused any irritation on my scalp. It does not lather as much as most shampoos, but it is just as effective at removing oil and skin buildup. I think it’s a good value given the organic ingredients and the care in avoiding harmful surfactants and other chemicals. This refill bag lasts me about 3 months and I have very long, almost waist length hair. I am very satisfied and I have bought this many times and will continue to do so. I hope the formula never changes!

Arrived well packaged and protected. Great scent, very gentle with my curly hair. Produces a nice lather and leaves hair feeling fresh and clean—not stripped. I also scanned it with Yuka and was really pleased with the good rating for ingredients, which was a big plus for me. Will buy again and try other products from the brand

I have been using this for a while on myself and my puppy and absolutely love it - it moisturizes, keeps her from being itchy and her hair is super soft and shiny. For me, it's perfect for sensitive areas and as shampoo. It used to be a thinner consistency with a more pleasant organic herbs and flowers scent, and at first I was really disappointed to find that all of my new bottles were thick and dark like honey, with a less pleasant and lasting scent. I emailed Babo Botanicals to ask them if they reformulated and this was their response: "We removed the Polyquaternium- from the formula. While this ingredient is completely safe and naturally derived, we wanted to replace it with more pure naturals. This also made the formula thicker and more moisturizing. Also, the annato oil is what gives that orangey color." While I miss the sweet herbal scent from their original formula, the wash works just as well and they changed it with the intention to make the product even more clean. This is still my favorite sensitive, moisturizing wash by far! Add a small amount of organic lavender and chamomile essentials oil if you really miss the stronger scent - make sure you check for safe dilution ratios.

No babies here, I bought this for myself because I was recently diagnosed with Eczema and have been searching for something gentle and non-irritating but also natural and a shampoo/body wash combo for quickie showers. I was leaning toward something entirely unscented and marketed toward adult skin conditions, but I happened upon this, did some reading on their website and it actually looked pretty good, so I ordered. I was very curious how it would smell since some reviews say "it stinks" or it smells like men's cologne, etc. yet others say they loved the smell. It really shows how different preferences are, because to ME, I think perfumey mainstream shampoos "stink". I really like the scent of this but to try and help others I'll describe it as best as I can: It's an "earthy" first of all. Someone mentioned patchouli and while it's not nearly as strong as that, it is along the same lines as far as smelling sort of "woody". In the hair it smells a little like Sandalwood for those who know that smell. I have a good nose (and use a lot of essential oils) so right off the bat I picked up both bergamot and cedarwood and sure enough, checked the label and there they are. I could absolutely understand some people thinking of it as somewhat masculine, but it definitely doesn't smell like cologne in my opinion. I'm a little bit of a hippie/earthy type so it's right up my alley but if you prefer flowery, more mainstream scents from a drugstore shampoo you may not care for it. Seems like an unusual scent for a baby product I'll admit, but I like the scent nonetheless and would use it my baby if I had one. The scent remains after my hair is dry but only very lightly. If I lift my long hair to my nose and breathe in it's there but I don't think it's strong enough for anyone else to smell unless they're hugging me or something. I'm sensitive to most scents in bath/body products and this isn't at all overwhelming for me. It worked great, a little thin for my taste but I think all baby shampoos are that way, I can't remember. It made my hair feel soft even while still wet in the shower, and it felt nice and soft after it dried. It doesn't lather a whole lot, but I don't care about lather as long as it works. People tend to be fooled into thinking lather somehow equals effectiveness and that's not true. I've only used it once, but so far it has not aggravated my eczema which was my main reason for buying it, so that's good. My only complaint, and for me it's enough to stop me from buying it again, is the price! Now this is my own fault I realize, but I bought this not fully paying attention to the fact that it's 8 ounces. I saw the size, but it didn't register in my head how small that is. Now, I know nothing about bathing babies and how long a small bottle would last so maybe it's a fine size for that, but this little bottle won't last long at all using it as both shampoo and body wash for an adult, and there's no way I'll pay that much again now that I realize how small it actually is for the price. I saw a 16 ounces size, but it's still too pricey for my budget, I'll just opt for a natural sulfate-free shampoo for grownups when this bottle is done. Too bad too, because I do love the scent.

Really nice baby and kid shampoo. Never had complaints about getting in eyes. Nice smell, clean. It's not cheap but probably one of the best out there.

Highly impressed with the ingredients the formula, the fuzziness, the scent, and the sense of cleanliness after washing my hair with this. I love that it doubles as a body wash. I was in love with your bubble bath of this calendula scent. it literally smells like heaven, calm, beauty and rejuvenation! Price is excellent. You get a great amount in the bottle. I love that the scent is strong enough to slightly suddenly stick to the hair after washing and drying! PLEASE MAKE A LEAVE IN CONDITIONER WITH THIS SCENT!!!

Fabulous! Have used it since 2017. Preferred the slightly stronger smell it USED to have but it’s grand as it is. More importantly it doesn’t irritate my sensitive scalp or sensitive skin.

Lovely for curly hair. Doesnt dry the skin. I just wish it smells different and not like sandal soap.

Used this since birth for my little one and its been fantastic with a subtle natural scent. No tears from her when shes used this. Also lasts a while, but we use this very sparingly. Only downside is price so now I've switched to a cheaper natural organic baby wash as my little one is older
