PUMAUnisex Quarter Socks (3 Pair Pack)

I have plenty of sports socks and the only reason I bought these was because they were advertised as 100% cotton. I was hoping these socks would help prevent blisters when out running without the artificial fibres added to strengthen cotton socks that you normally get. However these are just typical cotton sports socks with the usual amount of artificial fibres so I have now paid for items I don't want. I contacted the seller about this but they said that if I didn't want the items anymore I should have refused them at the door, basically completely ignoring the complaint. So now I am stuck with socks I have no need for.

I have several pairs of Puma Quarter Socks and I like them quite a lot. I have tried many different brand, a lot of them more expensive, until I finally found these:What I like about them:- they seem very high quality- they fit very well - I am a size 7 and size 6-8 fit me perfectly- very comfortable - they are not tight at all, basically you don't even realize you are wearing them- are competitively priced, coming up to somewhere between £2.5 and £3 per pair- nice and discreet colorsWhere I wear them:- all the time indoor- with sport shoesWhat you also need to know about them:- they are what you would call "cotton rich", as their cotton content lies around 75%- you can basically wear them any time of the year, except maybe when it's too cold outsideHope this review will help you choose the right pair of socks!

I STRONGLY DISLIKE THE FACT THAT THE LISTING CLEARLY SAYS 100% COTTON AND THE LABEL ON THE PRODUCT SAYS 70% COTTON. IF I HAD WANTED 70% COTTON I WOULD HAVE ORDERED 70% COTTON. IT IS A VIOLATION OF THE TRADING STANDARDS REGARDING SUCH PRODUCTS. THE AMAZON SYSTEM GIVES ONE NO OPPORTUNITY TO TALK TO SOMEONE TO REGISTER YOUR DISAPPOINTMENT, FIRST WITH THE COMPLETELY WRONG LISTING AND THEN WITH THEIR TOTALLY INADEQUATE CUSTOMER SERVICE. OF COURSE THEY DONT HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS ... THEY DONT HAVE A PREOCEDURE WHERE YOU CAN MAKE THEM. NEVER AGAIN!!

I'm no stranger to these (trainer/sneaker) style of socks - have tons of them and replace them regularly.Purchased the 9-11 UK size (43-46 Euro size) - Being a size 10, I have always purchased this size.But these Puma socks are RIDICULOUSLY too big (too long)!Despite having "43-46" sewn into the sock, they are between 3.5cm - 4cm LONGER than any other socks of this same size that I own (including other styles of Puma brand).See my side-by-side photos of this Puma sock and another brand sock I have. (Dark Grey=Puma). The other (light grey) sock matches the size of ALL my other branded 43-46 sized socks.If you're a UK size 12, maybe you'll get away with it. But if not and you still want to order these, then I'll point out that the stitching around the heel area is not the best fitting. It leaves a 'pigs ear' effect on either side of the heel that I would imagine easily flaps over inside the shoe and makes it uncomfortable to wear.All I can say is : Proceed with caution.

These are perfect!!!I was wasting money buying cheap unbranded versions of these socks in this size but they kept sliding down uncomfortably into the shoes.These Puma ones fit perfectlyAugust 2020 Revision- these socks didn’t last a year bearing in mind I’ve not been wearing them that often due to lock down (I don’t go out shopping etc - everything is online and I WFH)Hence the downgraded review from 5 to 3 stars.Money talks and you get what you pay for.

Everything to like and nothing to dislike. Would definitely purchase again. Good choice of colours. A 76 year old female who takes a size 9 shoe. Good stretch without feeling cramped.

I have previously bought this sock (not sure whether or not it was from the same provider). I loved my original Puma socks. They have been fantastic. Very thick, super comfortable and have washed and washed and washed. Stood up brilliantly to tumble drying. Tried so many other white sports socks which have been rubbish. So I thought I was on a safe bet when I ordered these and was very excited to receive them. Boy was I disappointed. First the size. They are too big and I am the top end of the range they are supposed to fit. Secondly the quality. Think cheap nasty. Nothing like my previous Puma quarter socks. Either these are not by Puma or Puma are having a meltdown. Cheap socks from ASDA are equally as good as these. And probably fit better.

If you’re ordering these for sensory reasons like me, please be aware that the toe seam is not flat at all. If you’ve never thought about sock seams before they’ll be fine, but it’s not a flat toe seam if that’s what you’re looking for.
