Can this be used on a painted patio surface?

Not too sure... Is designed for block paving with sand joints

What area will 5 litres cover?

If it's block paving 5L will cover approx 10sqM. If your getting more coverage than that then you aren't applying enough. You need to ensure the joints are fully flooded with sealer. You should not skimp if your looking to ensure the sand is bonded. Resiblock trade is designed as a 1 coat system and its 2sqM per litre on block pave, applying multiple coats can result in a patchy finish or the product not bonding properly. DO NOT apply if the area is wet or if it's going to rain, don't allow it to get wet for at least 12hrs after applying. Make sure you allow 48hrs after cleaning before applying to ensure area is dry.

It states the colour is sand. will it stain blocks that colour. or can it be used on any colour blocks. mine are red clay. thank you.

As far as I know you can use this on any blocks etc.

Easy to use

I used this product to seal my block paved driveway etc. One I cleaned it I used this sealer with a long handled roller and tray it was quick and easy and dried within the time. Now looks great would recommend it.

This product arrived extremely quickly, well before the estimated delivery date. The product is easy to apply and it dry's clear, with a very slight shine at certain viewing angles. I'm would definitely recommend this product.
