People need to read a bit more close before buying things. It has a photo on the gallery that says it is NOT compatible with high power devices such as blow dryers, hair curlers, coffee makers etc. If you bought it for this then left a bad review you are not smart.Also don't claim plugging a 120V laptop into this will damage it, that is utter nonsense. Almost all modern laptops, phones, tablets and most other types of electronics support 120-240V so you can plug a modern laptop into this no problem in either 120V or 240V country and anywhere in between.This is a solid adaptor and it has served me well

WE WERE IN SICILY FOR 2 WEEKS AND THIS TRAVEL ADAPTER WAS A LIFESAFER FOR MY APPLE WATCH AND MY IPHONE AND MY HAIR CURLERS. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I bought a couple of these adapters for a trip to Argentina recently and I loved them! They have everything you need for charging: 4 USB slots and and most importantly, a c-type of slot for my iPhone, which is what the newer iPhones require.I also like the blue stripe that makes it stand out from a black background which is useful if you’re plugged into a hotel wall that is black, like say, the bathroom wall in our hotel in Barcelona (on a prior trip), before I had this adapter where I had to remind myself not to leave it behind because it blended into the background.It comes with a zip up case which I’m not sure is necessary, but I like because I think it looks cool :), but that’s just me.It’s a very well thought out item, and I’m glad I have a couple of them, so I thought I would write a review to let other people know how useful it is.

Hats off to ZGGCD!!! I love this thing!! When traveling with your gadgets people often forget that they need an adapter for their electronics. Having to own different adapters for different countries is quite a hassle so finding this universal adapter is a game changer. When I first opened the box, the good looks impressed me. It is a nice looking matte gray and silver box which is small and compact for traveling. You can change each plug by retracting them and they lock well for plugging into the wall. It is also not very heavy so it won't add too much weight to your traveling purses or bags.I was psyched to see that I could charge my gadgetry with the USB ports. It contains 4USB and 1 USB-C. I wish there were more USB-C ports on this adapter since USB-C is becoming the universal port for electronics. However, I was pleased to have both types of ports on my adapter.I tested my adapter by plugging in my gaming laptop, my Surface Pro, my Samsung Note mobile and my IpadPro. I was waiting for the adapter to get scorching hot, but I was surprised to see that it maintained a decent warmth as any plugged electronics should feel, especially that I overloaded it with high-powered equipment. The USB-C is a high speed charger. My Samsung Note charged up in high speed time.I highly recommend to my fellow online traveling teachers and digital nomads. I will provide more updates as I test it further down the road. :-)

All I would wish would be for it to be less bulky. It is sturdy, with all of the features a sane person could want.

I just purchased this for a recent trip, and it is a nifty little thing. It is a lot smaller than what it looks like in the picture so I was pleased about that. I travel a lot around the world for work, and try to pack light as possible, and this is one must have when traveling abroad. It is a cube, and you can connect to just about every country and it has 4 USB connectors, so you can charge your phone and cameras all at once plus plug in your laptop. great idea. I do like the "release" button to put the plugs back into the cube so that it doesn't accidentally try to slip back in, which could happen over time. I would recommend this product. I also like how each plug slider is labeled so you're not guessing each time. Not a huge deal if it wasn't, but you can tell they put a lot thought into this one. Another nice feature is that the USB ports end up in the top of the unit, which for travel to the UK this would be a nice feature as the outlets I've seen are close to the ground.

Originally I bought this for an upcoming trip out of the country. It came so quickly I tossed it in my bag for a quick trip to New York. I am glad I did, the hotel I was staying at was a boutique hotel on the older side. I was in the shower when there was a power surge in the building. I rushed out knowing my laptop was plugged in. My heart dropped when I saw all the black soot all over the outlet the adapter was plugged into. I had my iPhone and MacBook plugged in charging.I unplugged it and my computer started right up. The surge protector built in to this adapter saved me thousands of dollars, not to count the 6 hours I had had spent editing my work. I will never travel again without this.It also has a a rather large amount of usb plugs, it’s the only travel adapter I will need for all my devices. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a $280 a night boutique hotel in Soho or a Hostel half way across the world, this adapter can save your devices and your whole trip. So happy with the purchase.
