Since 1988, serving the Austin community and it's visitors with great BBQ at reasonable prices. Live music playing from Thursday-Sunday. BBQ, blues and bluegrass!! At Green Mesquite, the BBQ gets its spectacular smoky flavor from our namesake: mesquite wood that is seasoned, or "green." Featured on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives", Guy Fieri calls our ribs made with brown sugar, paprika, cayenne, onion and garlic, "awesome." Other favorites include brisket, pulled pork and chicken fried steak.
