Sophie Madison Women's Junior Fit Down Fill Coat with Faux Fur Trim Hood

My boyfriend bought this for me to replace one his cat peed on last spring. Because he was the one footing the bill, I really looked around and researched as many brands as possible before making my decision. I had actually heard and could find very little about this brand, but I liked the way it looked so much, and the other reviews were so positive that I risked it. I am very glad that I did because it fits perfectly and I can tell it will be so warm in the winter. It is a junior fit which is important to remember because it's a bit more snug that a misses fit would be. I ordered a medium and I am quite tall with long arms to match and the sleeves of this are still a good length. It is a bit of a heavy coat but I like that because it makes me feel more positive about wearing it on our 10 degree Ohio winter days!

I generally wear a medium in misses sizing, but because junior sizing runs somewhat smaller I opted for the large and it fits perfect. It's very well made and very warm, requiring maybe an added lightweight sweater for sub-zero temps. The hood has a double-snap closure to keep it up on windy days which I really like.

So warm, almost too warm at times but that's what you want if you're getting a thick, down fill coat! Definitely great for cold, winter months. Fits perfect, true to size. Very cute. Has an inside pocket with a hole for earbuds/headphones to pass through. Love it.

Love this coat!! It is not bulky and extremely warm. Very happy with my purchase. Thought it would have been slightly more fitted, but then I thought how perfect it is for a down winter coat.
