Onsie / Bodysuit advice
First off, you need to know that onesies / bodysuits are cut different from every company and are even cut different if made in different years at the same company. See end of this review for my strategy to deal with onesies successfully. In general, Gerber brand runs small and is good for babies that are long and thin or if you have a preemie. The Gerber fabric is also slightly see-through so you can see the line on the diaper change from yellow to blue (shows when needs changed) without having to undress. Also, they come in sizes all the way through 24 months so if you really like a particular pattern, you can buy it in multiple sizes that slightly increase so you actually get to enjoy that outfit for more than 1-2 wearings (because babies grow so fast). This is my onseie strategy that worked:1. Buy a range of brands and sizes of onesies. My baby was long and thin and chunked up before growth spurts - he fit well into companies like Carter's, Gerber's, Little Me, and Old Navy. Old Navy in particular has the best 100% cotton snap up pajamas for newborns (the under 7lbs pjs worked for my infant up to 9 lbs). Old Navy also carries larger size nightgowns for babies (beyond 3 months) which I could not find anywhere else.2. DO NOT buy premee onsies from Gerber unless you know your baby is going to be born way too early as these are very small.3. Buy 1 pack of Gerber newborn onsies ONLY if you know your baby will be around 8lbs or less at birth.... because they will only be in these onsies for the first week or two of life and most of that time its best to put the newborn in footed/mitted pjs and nightgowns instead.4. Once you buy all the onesies you want, unpack and wash all of them... yes - wash 24 month onsies at the same time as the newborn ones because you would be surprised - I once had a 18 months pack of onsies that was the same size as 6 month clothing.5. Sort the onesies by length. If the fabric has stretch, be sure to stretch it to see how long they really are.6. For each pile of onesies around the same length, sort them by width... and put the narrowest on top.7. Now you have the onesies organized for usage. Just place the shortest ones in the drawer for use now... then put the longer ones in the closet or storage for latter. When your baby grows out of a size, get the next length out of the closet. Since they are already washed you can use them immediately.8. Just be sure to NOT keep your baby in any size outfit for longer than you should. If you are having any strain in getting the clothes on or buttoning them, then just move up to another size. Its better for an outfit to bit a tad loose then snug.

Run small!
I read the reviews before buying this set, and agree that this is for long and skinny babies. My 10 months old is tall, and I was hoping I will get at least a few months out of the 12 months set, but, alas, I think he will get a couple of weeks from them before not fitting anymore. I already washed them and threw out the packaging, so will be keeping them - but be aware of the sizing.

Runs small on chunky babes
Bought size 18 months for my 9 month old chunker thinking it’d fit him for a while. First time wearing one of the onesies and it’s a snug fit already! They’re definitely meant to be slim fitting “undershirts”. Still great value for the $ and I like that the material is thin for the summer. Wish i wouldn’t have thrown them in the wash first thing as i definitely would have exchanged them for the next size up otherwise.

Horrible horrible horrible!!!
If I could give these zero stars I would. They are insanely bad. Where to start...first off they are tiny. I bought 24 months and they are smaller than the 18 months carters version. Seriously...two packs completely unusable. Secondly...the quality. Complete garbage. I washed before wearing (always do and have never had issues) and it looked like it had been washed a hundred times! Omg save yourself the annoyance and just spend a few more bucks on any other brand.

Try another brand or at the very least, size up - TWICE!
Not a huge fan. Whether I'm buying an item for summer or winter wear, I still want the quality to be decent. Because he was a preemie, my son is TINY for 18 months. Like, he's barely on the charts. I bought the size 24 months because I wanted them to either fit perfectly or perhaps be a bit large, and instead I'm finding that they barely fit at all! He won't be in these long. But more to the quality point, I found the fabric to be rather threadbare. When I struggle to unsnap the bottom I worry I might tear the fabric in two! I don't feel like mailing them back so I'll keep them around, but from now on I'll buy my onesies elsewhere. Though a splurge for sure, I've been happy with the set we bought from the Gap. Best purchased on sale!

Just what I needed!
We live in Chicago and the winters are brutal! Whenever I would’ve left him to put him in the car seat his shirt would lift up exposing his skin and I hated that for him. Now, I put a little white onesie on underneath his shirt and I don’t have to worry about his skin getting exposed. They will transition nicely to the summer and can be worn with gym shorts! I absolutely love these onesies.

Don't Trust The Brand Name!
I ordered these onesies for my four and a half month old nephew, and I was sorely disappointed. He is a big boy, so I went by the sizing chart. I purchased a set supposed to fit 18 months, 24-28 pounds and 30-32 inches. The baby is 18 pounds and 28 inches, and these just barely fit him! They were tight across his shoulders and I could barely get them snapped shut. Furthermore, though 100 % cotton, the material is very scratchy. Two of the onesies have little dinosaurs on the chest. They are embroidered on, but it makes the material even scratchier on the inside. The only thing these horrid onesies have going for them are the cute factor. I thought I could trust a respected brand like Gerber, but I won't fall for that again!

Too small..
In my haste I washed these upon arrival instead of looking at how small they were beforehandI ordered these in 12 months and would have returned then. My almost 9 month old is a bit pudgie and wears most other brands in 12 months. I would have been lucky if these fit him a few months ago. They are very cute and nice otherwise for slimmer babies perhaps.
