Nintendo Game Boy - Original (Gray) (Renewed) [video game]

I got mine in “Excellent condition” and It works amazing, like brand new! Very nostalgic! There were some scuffs but not really noticeable but keep in mind these were used and refurbished, so not complaining but came out beautifully. All buttons work great and sound is good. Overall 5 star.

When nintendo classic was launched, I was 8 and this was the biggest thing EVER (for an 8 year old). Needless to say it was extremely expensive (lived outside USA) and my parents couldn't afford it. I have been wanting this system for the past 30+ years. I went to Tokyo last year and spent 2 days looking for a classic gameboy in all the right places and couldn't find it anywhere. When I found it here, I figured i'm probably gonna get a broken system with this order that i will have to fix somehow, or it will be disappointing in some other way but wanted to try anyways...I am happy to say I was wrong. Got the gray classic game boy and there isnt even a scratch on it. Also ordered tetris in case it does work, and that also works like a charm. I can relive the childhood. 5 stars for sure!

Buyer beware. I bought this gameboy as a Christmas present for my 10 year old son. By mid February, it stopped working. We're not talking about a situation where he was on it all day long and wore it out, not that such a thing should even be possible in barely 6 weeks. This gameboy didn't even outlast the first set of batteries!! Total junk! I bought it in late October. Other than taking it out and doing a visual inspection when it arrived, it sat in its box, unused until Christmas. By the time it failed in mid February, it was way too late to return it. It's very disappointing. I kind of had a feeling this might happen, but I took a chance because my son had been wanting one for a long time. I hope you have better luck than we did if you choose to roll the dice on one of these.

Definitely not original housing, the D in Nintendo is smudged and the rest of the letters are blurry. Its missing the stickers on the back. Mine definitely had the original motherboard in it as I can see the Nintendo watermark on it from the battery compartment. The screen is either is excellent shape or has been replaced as its like new. Speakers work excellently so I expect they have been replaced as well Overall works well, definitely a good refurbishment on the inside but I just wish they kept the original housing.

I had ordered this last year, just got it out for my husband, I paid $147.00 and it wont turn on. I would be careful if anyone wants to order one

I couldn't be more happier than when my OG Nintendo GameBoy finally arrived! I was like a kid at Christmas time running to the mail, picking up the package, and running back home to finally open it! My "brand new looking" but excellent refurbished Nintendo Gameboy!! Ahhh....I still can't believe it! I've wanted one of these for YEARS!! I lost mine when I was still under 13 years old. I'm so so happy to own one of my favorite handheld game system! With not one, not two but THREE of my top favorite games. The price is especially worth it considering the shape it's in being a 39 year old handheld. At $251 I think it's in extremely good condition being refurbished! And with my 3 all time favorite games, the first being Super Mario Land, the 2nd Tetris and 3rd being Yoshi it all came up too just over 500$. But again, these are in amazing condition being almost 40 years old. It doesn't even have one single scratch on the screen or gameboy itself. It's in great condition. I would HIGHLY recommend to any gamer who grew up with one of their own or even if they didn't I would still recommend to show one of the greatest handheld games of all time! I love love love it!

La qualité globale de l’appareil est très bien. Par contre la corrosion aux bornes démontre clairement un manque de rigueur au niveau du nettoyage de l’appareil soi-disant REMIS À NEUF… cela dit le tout fonctionne bien.

I have received a used non functioning unit and have returned and been pick up on 30h march still not received!
