I like buying spices on Amazon. Quite a big choice. They are always fresh and the quality is perfect.

This is my first time buying and tasting this spice and it is so so lovely and delicious and elevates my baking. I use it as a secret ingredient in my shortbread and nut based cakes. Beautful - the flavor really comes through. It is that "mmm tastes so good but can't pinpoint why"!

Hard to find spice smells and tasts good - worth the purchase. Then I went to Armenia and brought some back smelled and taste the same.

I used this product to make arras, a holiday bread in Syria. The bread came out as usual except for the aroma I am used to. I will add extra for next batch to see if that works better. Otherwise, the product seemed fresh, clean, well grounded and the expected aroma was faint.

What I had hoped for

Have a few recipes that call for this, and for only needing a pinch at a time for them this is a great source. Very interesting aromatic quality and flavor, great for pastry making or Middle-eastern cooking.
