Good amount of sparkle and sound when dancing. My granddaughter loved the pink. It fits just a little big but she’ll grow quickly.

I ordered this hip scarf for my 6 year old daughter after we went to a street performer festival where there was a belly dancer who was letting the kids dance with hip scarves. She loved it and asked if we could buy one. I had no idea what to expect purchasing a hip scarf and when I saw these on Amazon, I was concerned that they couldn't be that great of quality for so inexpensive. Because it had gotten such great reviews though, I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. The quality is outstanding for the price. It has held up well especially considering the fact that my daughter isn't exactly careful with it... The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I ordered another hip scarf from Amazon at the same time as this one, it was more expensive but I prefer it to this one. This one has less coins than the more expensive one and the material is thinner overall. But for the price, it's a great hip scarf, I would've never guessed that this one is as inexpensive as it is by looking at it.

I purchased this item for less than $7. As other reviewers have mentioned I was shocked by the quality. It is quite well made. Although the material is somewhat delicate, the coins appear to be sewn on very well and the edges are well stitched. I expected the skirt to be a little darker pink, but mine was a bright but not as dark as the picture. I am very happy with this purchase. I also wanted to add that if you are a larger side, I truly don't feel anyone over a size 16 will be able to wear this properly. I am a 14 hip size and it barely wraps to tie as pictured. If you are larger than that size it will probably still tie around your waist but the coins will all appear over one side of your hips (vs. as pictured where they cover your whole body). Alternatively you could drape this over your shoulder area and it does look nice that way.

I love my dancing hip scarf wrap with Gold coins because it fits well and it's well made. The coins are loud enough to get your attention focused on moving your hips without drawing extra attention from others because it is too loud or the coins are falling off. It is cute and I will enjoy wearing it to Zumba classes or when working out at home. Great buy and great price. It arrived on time and I would recommend to all. The color is a pale pink and not hot pink. I prefer the pale pink because it looks more classy than flashy...I'm just saying...You will enjoy it and it is worth the price. I am a size 6 and it fits well. If you are in the higher double digit size( range 14+ ) it may not give you enough length to tie it around your waist properly.

A word of caution if your heart is set on a hot pink skirt... I purchased this for my daughter's belly dancing class and found that the color was not true to what's pictured; it's definitely a light pink. This makes it look all the more delicate, though, so not necessarily a bad thing.I think the picture must show about a size 8-10 mannequin because the ends fall at the same length on my daughter, so just imagine longer or shorter ends to the tie depending on if you're larger or smaller. I'm, ahem, "somewhat" larger than my daughter and I could still tie it.Great quality for the price, too. It's well-made and does not appear cheap.

I specifically searched "Plus size" hip scarves. Bought at least a dozen from this seller in various colors because they were so cheap. The shipping is where they get you...Back to my complaint though. It says the scarf is 65" wide. If you hold the little tiny points at the very longest minute tip of the fabric and stretch the seem stitching across a tape measure you get somewhere close to 65". Arrgh! It's also very short. I do have a butt. It's my God given gift. This does not cover it or my hips. This scarf sits on top of my hips. I am a tall woman, 5' 10.5". I suppose if you were average height you'd be okay with the length. I hate that these things creep up and wind up being a belt by the end of my workout.This is one of the problems with Amazon allowing sellers from China take over most of their apparel sales. The sizing is not standard U.S. sizing. So far my experience has been items made for very petite people. The time it takes to come through customs is also a problem. You don't find out your exact ship date until after the purchase is made. Expect the very last day for your purchase to arrive.So that I don't break the "If you don't have anything nice to say" rule, the scarf is a thick synthetic fiber (probably polyester) with lots and lots of coins and beads.

I love wearing a hip scarf now in Zumba class, but I surprised myself when I bought such a bright color. I'm not really a bright color kind of gal, but this is so fun. I've worn it on some gloomy days and it brightened me right up. Great to hear how I am making those "coins" shake and jangle during class. My recommendation: buy at least two or three scarves so you can match your mood! Or escalate it!

It's beautiful and sounds great. However, it looks a little cheap. For the price, it's a great deal though. Just make sure that you take care and are gentle with it. Also, the belly dance studio I go to and other places around town have these EXACT coin hip scarf for sale for higher prices. So getting it online, even with shipping, ends up being cheaper. :) Over all, I'm happy with the product.
