Good strong and very much worth the money, we tested it out today and I hardly felt the baseball bat hit to the head off my mate.Decent replica, but also good for Airsoft paintball or slingshotting your neighbors cat while pretending to be in the army.Adjustable strap makes it good for all sizes :)

I was somewhat concerned when buying this helmet. The only other review says the plastic interior doesn't fit well hence leading to the outer shell shifting when you turn your head, this simply isn't true. The helmet is a replica of the old M1 style helmet. If you have a tiny head you might have issues but for fully grown adults this helmet will function like the real thing and with the straps set correctly you will have nearly no wobble or loose shake.I use this helmet to play airsoft and run a set of goggle and a mesh lower face guard along side it. I have had zero issues whilst running, sliding, crawling, etc around a field when running this helmet plus it has that added punch of not being one of those lame plastic MILSIM style helmets you see 99% of other players running (plus there's a satisfying PING when you get shot in the head, take that as you will). Its unique and just a great buy. 100% would recommend to anyone with a full sized head that needs protecting.

This was bought to build up into an Aliens USCM helmet. Vandalising a real one if you could find and afford it is a definate no-no, so this was perfect. Aftermarket parts (chinstrap and helmet band) are easily sourced on Amazon, and the USCM parts are easy enough to find if you search for Spat online. Turned out great.

As a Vietnam rzenactor I wanted a 'new' M1 helmet but originals are going too far up in price. So found this helmet at a great price with free prime shipping. It appears well made, the liner is not as per the original style, but no one is going to see that. Its heavy and you do need to adjust the internal strapping so that the helmet inner band sits around your upper most head, otherwise the helmet sits below your eyes. I did have to sort the chin strap, but not a problem. To complement I will buy an original era helmet cover and cats eyes band. 100% RECOMMENDED!

I bought this for a mate to customise as present (him being a ww2 buff)It’s great quality - and perfect for what I needed .Would it stop you getting your head blown off by shrapnel in the Ardennes ?No idea.But hopefully you don’t want it for that .
