I had a double mastectomy 3 months ago. Needless to say that whole area is very tight. This bolster supports my spine and my very tight shoulders and chest can sink in and relax and release. 10/10 recommend!

This bolster is just great - I've been using it often. The deep purple is a beautiful color, the bolster is really well made and sturdy. I haven't washed it, but when the time comes, plant to wash it on gentle in cool water and line dry.

This yoga pillow is absolutely FANTASTIC. What a wonderful prop for relaxation time after yoga. This bolster has really improved my breathing.

So I hesitated at first to spend this much on a bolster. But I own no bolsters and need some so I decided to buy quality instead of buying cheap. I started with the pranayama because it's the one I needed/wanted most plus the cheapest investment and would let me get a bead on wether spending more for a hugger mugger would be with it. Spoiler alert: it's with it.So first of all it is very firm. This is good because I don't want it to compress. It's very nice on this regard. The fabric is nice and thick. It feels sturdy and well made.It is small as many state however that is because it is a *pranayama* bolster meant specifically for certain opening of the back and shoulders and other uses. It is *not* one of those standard giant yoga bolsters because this bolster is intended for different uses.

This is an awesome pillow for putting under your back just above the sacrum and lying down on - you may have to adjust a few things depending on your height. I use a rectangular bolster under my legs, sometimes some scrunched up shirt or something under each elbow or wrist and a soft pillow under my head. I love using a relaxation flax seed pillow over my eyes. I also like to cover up with a blanket.BUT, once I figured out how to get myself situated just right, the pillow expands my chest like nothing I've ever found and it is easy to sink into my breath.And the experience of this kind of deep breathing and relaxation is deeply restorative. So, give yourself this gift of deep relaxation - work with it if you need to - but you won't be sorry.
