On a 2008 Fusion, what size wrench or tools to use to remove transmission drain plug?

I forget the exact size, but on my 2008 Fusion all you need is a metric Allen Wrench to remove the drain plug. It is very easy.

Hello Alan - I have a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr (equivalent to the Ford Fusion) with the 6 speed Aisin Warner transmission. Everything I read has said not to use anything different than the XT 8 ATF but there are some blogs out there that say there are some acceptable subs. I've bought the XT-8-QAW online to top off after having a tranny fluid change done at the Ford dealer. Not the cheapest way to go about it but I thought it best not to mess around. Doug
