Tone Sucker, Nevertheless a fantastic pedal
While the functionality of the wah itself is top notch, it has a noticeable impact on your tone even when it’s in the off position. It seems to suck out some mids or something I can’t really put my finger on it but it kind of sounds like if you were to kick the pedal on, and then find the most neutral position on the rocker. It’s very minor though, just something that should be noted. Also, it kind of sounded funny in front of all my modeling amps, but it sounds amazing in front my EVH 5150 tube amp (I play a lot of hard rock and metal, think Alice In Chains and Kirk Hammett). With my tube amp I’m able to replicate Hammett’s wah-drenched fills in Enter Sandman, and Jerry Cantrell’s solos very well. It should just be noted that for some reason it just didn’t sound right to me with the heavy distortion tones of the modeling amps.

My Most Used Pedal
This wah pedal adds a whole new dimension to my guitar tone. The sweep is smooth and expressive, making it perfect for everything from funk rhythms to soaring solos. It responds well to subtle foot movements, offering great control and dynamic range. Built solidly, it feels durable and road-ready. Whether I'm jamming at home or gigging live, this pedal consistently delivers that classic, vocal-like wah sound. It's a must-have for any guitarist's pedalboard.
