701 Medicated Plaster (Genuine Solstice Product) - 1 Can

Worked great on my sore neck. It does have a little bit of smell to it.

Was skeptical at first. A friend got me to try and I was amazed it worked so well. I have back pain all the time. I cut a patch to go on lower back and realized after a few hours shopping, I hadn’t noticed my back hurting. The only drawback is it’s very difficult to do by yourself as it is very sticky and wants to get stuck on itself or get messed up. Proceed peeling backing off carefully and it will work great.

Oh my goodness! my acupuncturist recommended this for bone spurs on my spine, but after a day of using this patch on painful swollen nerves running down my arms from my neck, the pain was gone! I've done everything I can to deal with the pain short of surgery, even epidural cortisone injections, gabapentin (other anti-seizure meds), ibuprofen, narcotics, chiropractic, physical therapy, you name it) and nothing worked. I have bulging/herniated discs and painful bone spurs in my foramen from C5-C7 and have been told i will need fusions and have the foramen cleaned out. But I have just been told so many bad things about fusions and that they are the last thing you should do because they cause more damage in the long run to the discs above and below the fused area. So I was so excited when trying this patch and that it stopped the nerve pains! I look a bit silly with strips of this running from my neck down to collar bone, three sides of arm and across the top of my back, but it's worth it. Also, they don't stick for more than a day or two, but the pain relief lasts a long time. I found that once I get the nerve settled down, if I keep putting the patches on for at least another week, then the pain will stay gone a long while or I just have small nerve zaps. My nerves were so festered that they were extremely sore and out of control, so i don't mind little zingers. : ) Now the camphor smell is tough at first and can burn your eyes a little bit at first and irritate those around you, but it dissipates after the first day and you really don't smell it after that. Also, the patches can irritate your skin at first, but after a couple of weeks, I no longer have a problem. Highly recommend this product!

I have tried several Chinese remedies and plasters and I ended up liking this one the best. The best thing about it is that it is a continuous roll and you can cut it the way you like it. It is VERY sticky, so be sure to have it where it needs to be. The smell is strong but I did get used to it. I use it at night because I think during the day it would be too noticeable for my co-workers. As far as effectiveness, it isn't some miracle cure. It is based on Menthol or Camphor but it has other ingredients from herbs and other botanicals. It did help my sore knee but not much for my herniated disc. I think it's worth the price and it is convenient to use.

Works well, and is more effective than nearly all others, like lidocaine, or Salonpas. But, Salonpas is great also, just in different ways and for different things. Other Solstice patches or plaster rolls are good.

I’ve been buying this product (on the same listing) for 10+ years. I USED TO love it. This most recent order they’ve changed their recipe. The color has changed from a dark brown to a light tan (not an issue just a fact). The issue for me is It now smells much stronger of camphor/menthol than it did before and It seems to have lost a lot of the herbal smell… unfortunately I don’t have an old bottle to compare the ingredients from the old to the new. I would guess they took out some of the herbal remedies that used to be in the product. During use i felt the “cold” from the menthol, much stronger than previous batches. After use I did not feel the “healing” went as deep as previous uses of this product. Not to mention the price has tripled (used to be $9…just paid $30!!!)

Awesome product. Instant relief, easy to size, cut and apply. Lightweight and stays in place. I would recommend this product to my friends and family. Recommended to me by medical staff.

Well, the picture of the can showing on the item I ordered is what I wanted, but it's not what I received. The ingredients are different by quite a bit. I originally ordered my 701 from the scar family, but after not receiving it for two weeks, I thought to check Amazon and there it was available with prime shipping. So I ordered the same product from Amazon and have it within two days. However I use the product and had absolutely no benefit from it. It's stunk to high heaven, and kept me awake all night. I had canceled my other order, and it arrived the next day. I put a strip of it on my knee which had a TKR four months ago, and has chronic swelling I couldn't get rid of. I put another small strip on the back my neck, which has been hurting for two months at least and causing all kinds of pains shooting down my arm, which keeps me from getting a decent nights sleep. Also requires that I sleep on it a tiny rolled up towel or some other device to keep my head in one position. Last night I took both strips off before I went to bed, and the swelling was gone on my knee. I didn't have any neck pain, and went to bed sleeping on a My Pillow, full size. I took nothing for pain before going to sleep, and did not wake up during the night or in the morning with pains shooting down my arm. So the stuff works if you get the right stuff. When I ordered from the Scar Family. They have a traditional recipe of 701, and that's what I ordered. There's a little sticker on this can that I got that says "NEW", so I don't think it's the traditional recipe. One of the main ingredients that it should have is wingless cockroach. And there are other things as well that are different. The batch that works has the wingless cockroaches in it. I'm glad someone found a purpose for those things. So if you expect results, Be sure you contact the supplier and tell them you want the traditional recipe. I'm going to a try to attach some pictures of the two cans so you can see the difference
