Morakniv Carving Hook 162 Mixed Fixed Knife, Handle: Natural Birch, Blade: 52 mm

I always thought that the 162 was double edged, I believe it was originally advertised as double edged. But on the package it had conflicting references, half said 164 and the other side 162 . It's fine I'll make good use of it . But I was expecting a double edged. I'll purchase that one elsewhere.

Sharp or of the box and does everything it’s supposed to do well. The handle is simple and easy to hold in different grips, it can be a bit rough at first but with some use or a coat of wax it’s extremely comfortable. The blade is thin and bevelled at a good angle, it cuts well and only needed one strop to carve out a kuksa. Great knife and definitely worth it for any carving you’re doing.

Super scharf. Hab ein beidseitig geschliffen ausgewählt weil ich Rechtshänder bin und meine Partnerin Linkshänder ist. Eins für beide also... Durch den beidseitigen Schliff ist es für Anfänger, wie mich,etwas gefährlich und nicht so einfach zu handhaben.Nur mit sehr guten Schutzhandschuhen arbeiten. Das Schälmesser ist sehr scharf und aus gutem Stahl gemacht. Super Qualität.

Morakniv non delude mai... arrivato già affilato a rasoio, ha la curvatura più stretta rispetto al 164 e lama affilata su entrambi i lati... perfetto per scavare e modellare il legno in punti difficili e per dare ritocchi finali...lo consiglio assolutamente

C'est un Mora. Efficace, attention ce modèle 162 est à double tranchant. Pour ceux qui ont l'habitude de pousser avec le pouce sur la lame, ça peut être dangereux.
