Fitted this KMC X10 chain to my road bike and it’s been running like a dream ever since. Shifting is super smooth across the cassette, no slipping or skipping even when pushing hard. Comes with a missing link connector which makes installation dead easy without needing special tools. Feels strong but not too heavy, and it's holding up really well even after a few gritty winter rides. Plus, it looks great with the silver finish. Top quality chain – would happily recommend it for anyone running a 10-speed setup.

I had to shorten this chain - you do need a fairly beefy extractor tool to do this - the removed pin will NOT be reusable afterwards. The so-called supplied Missing Link can be reused if you want to remove the chain for a complete clean that rotary chain baths can't quite match. I would not like to undo this link more than once personally. If this chain is like the EL & SL models in everything but weight, this one will wear well. What surprises about all derailleur chains is their width getting worn away & not just the overall length increasing. My gear changes are back to being excellent again because of this! 4 stars to start with & will amend id required after a good few months. I'm going to experiment replacing a cheaper chain more often than a lighter one.

But this when I was replacing a worn out cassette as I measured the chain and that was worn too. Very easy to install on the bike and in combo with the new cassette very smooth gear changes. Reasonably easy to keep clean and so far no complaints.

This kmc chain is one of many I have used before over the years, it has been a great product for my trek session 88 dh bike and my other bikes as well and has never let me down. 🙏👍. Many thanks to seller.

The item was perfect but the delivery was not it should have arrived by 29th August and it didn't arrive till 4th Sept n my grandson needed it for his bike yo go back to school but it didn't arrive in time so he was exceptionally disappointed

Sold without a missing Link ?? They are supposed to be in the small compartments above the chain? Now I have had to pay extra for links because I cannot fit my chain. Thanks?

I ride about 4,000 miles a year on my bicycle. It's got a Tiagra 4600 groupset. These chains will last me about 12 months, but I also use the same bike on a turbo trainer so that's even more miles. It's more that I would expect it to last, especially when giving it so much stress on hill climbs.

Eccellente catena, silenziosa a tal punto che mentre pedali controlli se c'è ancora. Non si sente assolutamente. I cambi marcia sono fluidi, netti, precisi che nemmeno si sentono. La consiglio al 100%. Sono rimasto ultra soddisfatto della qualità di questa catena.
