easy install and value for your bucks
I like the look and feel of the new install. plus the value was a nice add. the black nob and the black out kit you can get seperate from amazon also was a good match. looks oem on the 2019 tacoma. even thou the trucks automatic/manual. i miss an actual manual transmission. this give you that feeling especially when using the manual +/_ feature. i recommend it. fyi got to use a diy black tube to cover the remaining chrome shaft to complete the look.

Looks and works great.
Easy fit. The adapters included worked for me and were idiot proof. It looks great on the shifter. The only problem is that it is aluminum (as advertised so no surprises). I forgot that metal is icy cold when it is cold outside and searingly hot when it is warm. After a bit all is well.

Inserts are not threaded. Just a tapered hole.
The inner diameter of the inserts are not threaded. They are a tapered hole. Threads are formed when you force the knob onto the shift lever. Not a fan of this method. However, this design ensures the knob will not loosen unintentionally. The quality of the aluminum ball is nice.

DO NOT BUY!!!!
It broke after 20 minutes of driving and almost caused me to crash do not buy and yes I did put it on right and everything it just broke. the ball itself is comfortable but the part that connects to the shifter is made of peanut brittle and broke way too easy and I was using barely any force. I would recommend this if you plan on gluing it to your shifter and never taking it off and hoping it doesnโt break and cause you to crash like I almost did. Iโve been though 3 knobs and first two were beat up looking and I wanted a cleaner looks and that was plain but for the price and material it probably cost the manufacturers $2 to make and they sell it for way more than it is worth.

Adapters were not threaded
Great looking knob a good heavy feel. The problem was the adaptors had no internal threads. I had to tap my own thread size. Not everyone has tap and die set. I did so not a problem but a definite aggravation.
