The LP Black Beauty #204 is the best sounding cowbell I have found. It has the exact sound that was used on songs from the 70's Like "Honky Tonk Women" from the Rolling Stones, "We're an American Band" from Grand Funk Railroad, "Hair of the Dog" from Nazareth, 'Don't fear the Reaper' from Blue Oyster Cult, 'Get Down tonight' from KC and the sunshine band. I tried out many other brands like Pearl, Meinl , Etc, and all of those brands had a weird metal overtone ring to them that was just too annoying. You can't go wrong with the LP Black Beauty, Its a classic legend.

Good cowbell but have to say i would expect better paint quality from brand like LP, a bit disappointment.

The products is real and this is the best sounding cowbell ! If you need a versatile cowbell for your drumset this is the one to go, high pitched and a nice cut through. So now what i didn’t like about this was the delivery thing It was already 22 days because the shipment was from different country but after completing 15 days it was showing that your cowbell cant be delivered because the seller has lost it and after contacting to amazon customer support, i finally got my product the next day so i dont know what was going on !

Nice sound, actually very nice, maybe 'cus it's folded and spot welded, rather than the higher priced LP ones which are seam welded. One thing though, is the diamond shaped mounting 'hole' is a bit smaller than I've seen before, almost like it fits on a smaller rod than the 'normal' 8mm rod? I had to open it up a bit with a Dremel as only 1 of 4 rods I've got would fit? The eye bolt is normal though.
