[2 PACK] 120 x 240mm Dust Filter

I recently had to take my PC apart and am always shocked by the amount of dust that finds its way inside. I am hoping that these additional mesh covers will help in keeping the dust out. The mesh is quite fine and the magnet is strong enough to attach to the outside of the metal case. I'll update the review the next time I have to take my PC apart and report if the dust infiltration has been reduced.

I purchased these dust filters for a custom PC case I made. I had a old PC case which had bad airflow so decide to jigsaw out a cut-out on the top of the case and added 2 fans. Despite the air blowing out the case, aesthetically it needed something to cover it and these worked perfectly as you can see from the before and after photos. I ordered the 0.5mm filters however looking back I would have picked the larger mesh diameter. This is because the 0.5mm is pretty constrictive and despite stopping more dust, it does reduce the air flow noticeably. Regardless of that, I'm very happy with purchase and the case looks good!

These magnetic dust covers should attach to any magnetic PC case, and cover up vents with a small hole-covered layer of metal, which allows air to flow though but blocks large amounts of dust. They are slightly flexible so should go over areas that have small outdents or screws. You also get enough to use on multiple machines, or to have replacements if one or two eventually wear out. I definitely recommend this product to those who have a PC that gathers dust quicker than you’d like.

I have a side panel on my computer case with quite large holes in it, and because I have 3 large fans (1 sucking air in and 2 extracting it) it is inevitable that air will be drawn into the case via the large holes, so I needed something to stop that happening. This mesh is ideal, firstly because I can just attach it to the outside of the case by the magnets, and also it is so easy to remove to clean either by an 'air duster' or even a rinse under the tap. The mesh isn't ultra fine but fine enough in my opinion and the fact you get two for your money is excellent.

The filter mesh is pretty good, creating a barrior that dust and hairs stick too, but still allows air to flow through comfortabley. The Magnet strips stick to my case very nicely, keeping the mesh sturdy, but can be taken off easily for cleaning. One thing is that over time the glue sticking the strips to the mesh will wear down but can easily be glued back on. Overall these are good filters for their value.

Did not fit my intakes fully. Main issue I had was the smell, it smelt like burnt plastic and I heard that those scents could be harmful to health. Once I used it I spent a while trying to see if something was burning before realising it was the air coming out of my pc that smelt like the filters.

I purchased a bespoke PC from the local specialist, but had to take it back to him on a few occasions. The problem was dust from the nearby building site (don't get me started on that subject though!). Anyway, the specialist cleaned my PC, ticked me off, and then promptly damaged the original dust screen. He apologised and said they were easily available on-line - and here's the proof! It fits in the space perfectly, helps keep my PC free from dust, was good value for money, and is quite happy at being bashed against a wall to get the dust out of it! Get them if you need them, you won't regret it!

I've had my PC for five years, and only some fans out of all the fans had dust filters. So I found this dust filter for my PC which will help reduce the dust that accumulates inside my PC.
