Many reasons to like it 1 Cheap compared to getting a big board and installing it 2 Saves space and wow gives big size 3 you don't keep bumping into it as you pass it in a small space room like ours 4 writes well, wipes well 5 Tackiness is excellent for mounting as it accommodates mistakes without loosing stickiness Find a good smooth wall to mount it as the wall defects will show. Depending on size (we have 2 ) you will 2-3 people to mount it

The Writey video says installation requires no tools, but shows use of several tools: a spirit level, and a microfiber cloth among others. The video also glosses over steps necessary to make the board lie flat. We experienced a problem where the backing failed to come off cleanly. A blemish which looks like a crack Mars the middle of the board. Any blemishes in the underlying surface are painfully visible on the board.

We have been searching for a matte film or cover for our mounted whiteboards in a couple of classrooms that have glare issues. On that front this was a very good solution; the matte finish is much less reflective and we like the whiter tone of the material as well. As for the adhesive, I would say that this is NOT a removable product under most situations. We were installing it on a ceramic whiteboard and had to reposition once, it was very difficult to remove. On a painted surface or drywall I imagine it would have been destructive to remove. Still 4 stars for us because it served our need well, just beware this stuff is very sticky and a bit unwieldy in the 4x10 size. Update: FF 6 months and a 60% increase in price! At $160 I could just buy an actual whiteboard! Don't get me wrong, the product does what's advertised and ours have held up well so far, but $320 per room!

What an amazing company to deal with! Informative, helpful and kind. Board was incredibly easy to install, directions recommendation a two person team but I was able to do it alone. It was a little big for my space and was very easy to trim with a scissor or box cutter. Paper on the back has a grid to make it easy to trim. I installed this in my classroom on top of a chalkboard. Only recommendation is if you are using for a classroom white board for constant writing and erasing go with the glossy, not matte. It'll be easier to erase. Matte is more so for projection and a less intense amount of writing. So glad I found this product and company. I will be recommending to all my co-workers and teacher friends!!!

We have hung 3 other glossy Writeyboards in our office with no issues. This Writeyboard will has partially peeled off the wall multiple times and developed large bubbles under the surface. Stay with the original glossy product.

Installing the board was a little difficult especially when trying to ensure no air bubbles. The instructions were not clear on how to help decreases air bubbles. The finish on the board is a little flat, and erasing is a little difficult. Needless to say, not a great use of a dry-erase board for a lot of writing.

Highly recommended

The board shows REALLY bad ghosting when you try to erase anything you write on it.. do not waste you money on this item if want a quality board.
