Are these boots hot? Planning on hiking in a warm wet environment

Ive used them in temps up to 70 deg f. Personally...Temps higher than 70 deg f would Make the boot too warm for hiking but my feet alwsys run hot. The boot fits a little too loose for hiking. Great for yard work or boat work/fishing. Not enough ankle support.

I wear a 10w. the customer care folks recommend i get a size 11. that’s a whole size bigger. will they be too long???

All I can tell you is I wear a 9.5 in nearly all shoes and a 10 Muck fits me very well. So, they might be right. But, there are places on the net that offer free shipping AND free return shipping. As a safe bet you might want to try and purchase from one of those sites - even if the boots cost you a few dollars more.

Are these mens sizes or womens? When you use the drop down for sizes is says womens..but the heading says mens??

Well you made me go back and look at the link where I ordered my men's size 14...and you're right it is listing the men's Muckster II in the women's section! But they are men's, I can attest to that. That's really classic isn't it? ;-} Hilarious. I've just now clicked the link "Report incorrect product information." to have them address this. So we'll see what happens.
