Great snowboarding bag!!! Great quailty and sturdy build. Holds alot of gear, actually all my gear.

I bought this Mountain Duffel in the X-Large size with the sole purpose of getting as much on the plane (traveling to the UK) as checked in baggage as possible without having to pay for an over sized bag. The x-large duffel is a PERFECT size as long as I do not use the two end pockets it fits the new dimensions requirements EXACTLY and it can fit a huge amount of stuff (getting 50 pounds of clothes etc in it was no problem at all). After reading other reviews I made sure the items on the outer portion of the duffel were not easily damaged. The duffel did suffer damage on the bottom on one side where the end pocket joins the main part of the bag (ended up with a drag holes along the seam- looked like it had been dragged for a mile by the airline employees) but as I had nothing in the end pocket nothing was damaged at all. Even with this small amount of damage I highly recommend this duffel if you need to travel overseas and need to bring a lot of stuff with you- I found nothing else even remotely close in price range with these perfect dimensions and afterwards it folds up nicely for storage with its own storage bag. The straps were very helpful for transport as well. (I had to manage 2 toddlers, 1 stroller, 1 young child and 5 50 pound bags from the London baggage department to the exit myself and the straps were very helpful). I am actually going to buy more of for my upcoming trip.

I am replacing my outdoor research duffle that I had for over 20 years. The new bag is even better than the last one because it has a large u shaped opening for the main enclosure, two large pockets at each end, a rectangular shape, and one smaller pocket on the front side. It is the perfect duffle. The new bag also has a more comfortable strap and handles. Just a note: I had to replace my old bag because I overstuffed it, and broke the zipper. It was a user error, not from poor quality. It had been to multiple countries, and spent the past few years as the main gear bag for snowboarding gear. It’s washable, and highly durable.

For the price this is a nice big bag. Not sure if it will hold up to wear-and-tear. I initially bought the extra-large bag but then realized it was too big for a standard checked bag (at least on Southwest Airline) so I bought the large size too. The major downside I noticed (about the large, not the XL) is that the side handle straps aren’t long enough to meet in the middle when the bag is packed (and I don’t even have it fully packed) - and they’re clearly designed to because one handle has a velcro wrap to connect the two handles. And as I’m planning to have this bag checked, letting the handles swing free is probably going to be an issue. So I hope they re-design this. I was able to get the handles velcroed together with a lot of effort and a second pair of hands (and the bag wasn’t even full)

I bought this to carry my Gi and some martial art equipment to work outs. It has a zippered compartment on each end that can easily hold my size 9.5 shoes without ridiculously protruding into the central compartment of the bag like so many of the other bags that are being offered. It easily holds 18" keibo without stretching. The carrying handles on my last bag tore out of the fabric. The handles on this bag are straps that go entirely around the body of the bag, so they should not be at any risk of failure. This is the perfect bag for my intended use. Almost a year after purchasing this bag I needed to contact the manufacturer for warranty service, and they were great! They asked for a picture of the problem and a picture of the bag's tag, and then they promptly shipped me out a replacement bag. I am more than thrilled by this level of service. Did I mention the bag comes with a 15 year warranty? Buy this bag, you will not regret it.

Literally coming back to order this again. I ordered the extra large back in 2014 and it's still kicking! It's UV damaged (looks gray now) and some of the handles have ripped over the years, but I can't believe this bag lasted me 12 years!

I traveled the bahamas and worked on a boat for one week with 20 boy scouts/leaders. I needed a bag that was made of stury material that would not rip, tear, snag, or be destroyed in any fashion by either airplane luggage handlers, boy scouts or being on a wet boat. I needed a bag that was lightweight with tons of room on the inside. I needed a bag that would pack up small once empty (packs into a sleeve about est. 10x10x3). I also needed a bag with soft walls so it could be crammed into a closet packed full of other items to allow room for other items to be crammed in as well. This bag worked perfectly for the entire trip in every aspect I listed above! The only thing this bag would not work well for is if you needed a bag with hard sides or walls to protect the materials inside (i.e., if you didnt have a weeks worth of clothes to wrap them in). I did bring home several fragile materials through customs and all were wrapped in the clothes in the bag and all made it home just fine. This bag has since gone camping, weekend trips, skiing and is still like I bought it yesterday. The material is uncompromised and cleans with a rag. It should smell to high heaven but it doesn't and even if it did, I could wash it. So find a bag that beats this one? I dare ya.

Bought 2 and loved them so much we bought 3 more, use them for camping, sports, travel, etc. Love that they have a carrying pouch to store them in which makes them compact for storage, and the carry-pouch doubles as a toiletries bag. However, quality of craftsmanship is not consistent, we have 1 bag that has torn on multiple seams, we've resewn 3 times and now have given up, the interior fabric lining is shredded at the edges and there is not enough fabric left to sew back into place. A big disappointment, less than 1 year old. Not sure they'll exchange it. I'm hoping this is a fluke and we don't find similar problems with the others, but they have lasted through a 2 week camping trip and a 1 week vacation and 3 scout camps, and a mining trip, so far the others are holding up well...some bags have flaws. Great value and great design.

Second update: Company sent me a replacement free of charge and it is defect free. Very good customer service. ---------- Edit: changing review. Barely used this bag and just noticed the material separating main compartment from side has almost completely separated. Interior seems very cheaply made. ——— I really like this bag and it's a great deal for the price. I umpire and use this bag to carry around my equipment. Zippers are good and I like the three extra pockets (two on sides and one in front). I got the large size, which was actually bigger than I need/thought it would be, but that's on me for not paying attention to the measurements. Haven’t used much but seems fine and no complaints so far.

Los materiales son de excelente calidad, la uso cada que viajo a ver a mi familia, y para cualquier viaje corto le he cargado una cantidad mas que considerable de peso y ha resistido sin ningun problema, la recomiendo para uso rudo, aun cargando mucho resiste, no es muy comoda de cargar con peso, pero si facil de transportar. Sin duda la volveria a comprar 100% recomendable

Es de un material mas delgado de lo que parece, y las bolsas laterales son pequeñas, solo cabe un par de zapatos, aunque es una maleta grande
