Once the Panzer V or "Panther" was introduced to WWII, it quickly became apparent that none of the German recovery vehicles of the time could shift their massive bulks off the field after a breakdown. To address this issue, German forces took multiple Panther chassis and attached a heavy-duty crane to them. These turret-less Panthers were then able to haul broken down tanks back to repair depots. Kit features an early version of the Bergepanther with detailed parts, auxiliary crane and decals for two German versions.
