Hasegawa 1/72 Scale A-6E Intruder Plastic Model Kit, Teen-Adult, Includes Plastic Parts, No Assembly Required

Model came as described. Well made and easy to assemble. Would recommend this model to anyone. I enjoyed putting it together and painting it.

Well-made model kit; the parts fit together well, and the completed project is pretty big for a 1/72 scale model. The cockpit and landing gear bays are lacking in detail, but pretty standard for the price. Typically for Hasegawa, the A-6 only comes with one option for weapons/fuel tanks, but it's a big stores load-12 bombs and three huge drop tanks. The decal sheet comes with two sets of markings, one for the old-style high visibility paint, and the other for the late-career low-visibility gray. The best part of this kit is that it's fairly cheap, especially when one takes into account the amount of plastic you get-completed, the Intruder is about 10 inches long by 12 inches wide.

This model is very nice, with good detail throughout model. One draw back is there are no recessed panel lines. But the cockpit is good and with some scratch built parts and make the plane specially nice. I do like the model and now that I have A-6E INTRUDER, it is a match for the A-6 PROWLER that I built about three years ago, also a Hasegawa kit 1/72 scale.

This A-6E model is not to complicated to build. The only thing I can complain about it is that some parts do not fit exactly together. I have to sand the body down where it comes together. It is a minor fault and I am satisfied overall.

I purchased this kit like 7 years ago. It's a nice kit, but lack of details. The cockpit is very simple, ejection seats are like stone chairs. Externally is excelent!!! The interiors need more attention.

The model kit is true to life and was shipped quickly and with care!

This is definitely an older kit by Hasegawa based on the molding and raised panel line. There are some fitting issues between some parts, but for an 11 dollar kit that's not bad. Most of the issues I've encountered while making this kit are easily remedied with a little bit of effort. Lastly it's a cool plane with decent detailing. I'll update this once I've painted and applied decals.
