DEWALT Drill, Pneumatic, Reversible, 3/8-Inch (DWMT70786L)

For me this tool is great. the only downside is IT IS LOUD!!!! I wish it had a muffler or something. But great tool. I don't use it for a drill i use it to buff. it's great for that.

Needed for an unusual job( had to drill under 12’ of water) Worked well, once done with job , sprayed with WD40……. Still works !

This pneumatic drill is a beast. I find it well made, very powerful and fast. The drill is quite loud, but all pneumatic tools create significant noise. My recommendation to Dewalt is if they can provide more variable touch to the trigger. It is very difficult to get partial speed; it wants to be off or wide open on. For the noise and the lack of variable touch on the trigger, I am removing one star

I bought this for my hobby making Bourbon barrel furniture. It requires riveting all hoops to each stave at 5 levels. About 350 per barrel. This is a challenge with cordless drill getting hot and batteries drilling 1/4 in through steel hoop. This drill doesn't not have the power. It can drill smaller pilot hole, but not do the bigger hole as I desired

I liked the air drill very much. Not heavy or bulky and has plenty of power. It is loud, no doubt but makes no difference to me.

Ok drill, not a variable speed, way too heavy

Every DeWalt tool I have is at least a little better engineered than the competitors, and I love this one. The variable speed was essential and the chuck worked flawlessly (as usual DeWalt)

Really disappointed with dewalt on this purchase. I am a die hard dewalt fan but this is not good. It’s supposed to be variable speed. The trigger has 2 positions. If you try to go slow it dies even without any load. The trigger is also sticky. The bottle of oil they give you leaks and the whole thing was covered in oil. Overall just not dewalt quality. This is more like Walmart quality. Buyer beware. I would return it but I destroyed the package trying to get it out of the package. Maybe this was just a lemon but I’d be very cautious to buy dewalt air tools.

Strong well built 3/8" Drill and powerful enough for most shop like conditions. It does have a specific sound when the drill is being used is slightly louder but I will say it is also slightly more powerful than its competitors. A+

Working in an aluminum fabrication shop and just bought this thing. Look and feel durable but damn, is it ever loud! Wish it was a little quieter.

This drill is horrible, it's either full RPM or off. Useless and I will be returning. It's unfortunate as I am a Dewalt fan
