Pump itself works great on quart oil bottles but does not fit Valvoline gallon jugs. The pick up tube can fall off into the bottle if you don't push it in securely. Never the less, it worked well to pump differential and transfer case oils. Keep an empty quart oil bottle around to use to hold you oil you need to pump

Great little tool. Fits quart or gallon bottle. Used this for changing the gear oil in a differential on our car. When you can’t pour you need to pump. Saved me a bundle of money and time! Solid construction at a good price.

Used this to change gear and transfer case oil in 2008 Jeep JK. Screwed on the quart jars ok. Did not fit a 1 gallon jug however but still was able to pump. Make sure the straw is securely pushed in all the way. First time using the 1 gallon jug, it came out and took some time to get it back out of the jug. Was much easier using this to fill the transfer cases. I also used for gear oil on outboard motor which the holes are way smaller!

I use this to add transmission fluid to my car because it's a "sealed" transmission. There is no dipstick, and they say the fluid is good for the life of the car, that is if you do not want your car to have a long life. This attaches to the bottle, and you can pump in the fluid.

Awkward and ineffective. It works…but hard to get every last drop of oil up through the hose and down into the motor oil spout. I ended up missing it spilling about a quarter of the quart of oil...all over the motor. Ugh!

Used this to fill transmission with oil and I must say I was impressed with this glorified. Stop dispenser. I was able to fill up my transmission with 3 qt of oil in the time that it took me to cook some toast. I would highly recommend this pump if you're cheap like me and Don't want to get an electric one

The pump broke, luckily on the last pump of MT fluid replacement. Ok for light weight fluid, nothing over 40W Oil.

I bought this pump to do front and rear differential fluid changes on my 2003 Toyota 4Runner. I needed to purchase both a gallon jug and a quart jug of gear oil for this service. The pump fit the quart jug but not the gallon jug. The gear oil is Valvoline 80W90, also purchased from Amazon. I transferred the oil from the gallon jug to the quart jug using a funnel and this method worked fine. The pump worked perfectly. I recommend this pump.
