This saved me from having to get a new refrigerator and I received in 2 days after ordering so luckily we didn’t lose any food.

Used on a fridigdair refrigerator element replace to sure it up with new parts all at one time,,I also replaced the defrost timer,,and it's working as it should and not freezing up

Working

This part worked for my 2008 Electrolux EW23CS65GS1. I also defrosted my coils with a hair dryer since they were all iced up and the air was not circulating correctly from the coils into the freezer and fridge. I think it was due to overloading my freezer and the freezer door not closing all the way. I replaced this part which requires some tools to strip and crimp the bare wires together. I had the nice Klein crimp and wire strippers already. Now my freezer and fridge no longer say high temp.

"Sheerness?" Um, ok, whatever that rating is about. This is thermostat, not a nightie or pantyhose. Anyway, swapped an old defrost thermostat with this one. I doubt that was the issue as nothing changed with that "fix" but this thermostat does work since I left it in place and performed the fix that worked. Fridge runs fine with this one in place.

This part was cheaper than the name brand one and arrived quicker so I could fix my refrigerator. Works great.

Came with wrong heat shrink on the right vs the correct size. Since the crimps were done I had to cut off the heat shrink as it wouldn’t seal and was too short . I used liquid electric tape that I had .

I chose this particular seller because the images depicted larger heat shrink sleeves similar to the OEM part but, unfortunately, like with other sellers, these are smaller and won't completely cover the connection.
