Eneloop Panasonic K-KJ17MCA4BA Advanced Individual Cell Battery Charger Pack with 4 AA 2100 Cycle Rechargeable Batteries

I am impressed with the Eneloop batteries. After hearing so much positivity about these rechargeable batteries, I decided to give them a go. In short they're the best batteries I have used. I needed an alternative to my Xbox Series X Controller battery pack after my powera recharging station gave out. In the few months I have used, Eneloop lasts longer and I have to charge less frequently even after long hours of gameplay. I estimate I get at least 20-30 hours of gameplay, however your's will vary because I use no vibration settings and dim Xbox light on controller and that conserves a lot of battery. Definitely simple and easy to use, the charger works with the aaa eneloop batteries, I also decided to buy and use for my remotes. The charger is quality and not a cheapo junk. This is the real deal, I have seen someone Get over 10 years use out of these batteries. These won't work on certain devices, these are Nickel-Metal Hydride NOT Lithium. So for certain devices you may have to research if they work, some reviewer said they do not work with Gameboys because of the output, you just have to research and figure out before hand. For my uses they work great, I can highly recommend if you are a Xbox Series X Controller user they are the best rechargeable technique I have used thus far for my Xbox.

Important! After purchase make sure to remove the batteries from the charger then remove the little plastic/paper strip inside the charger which blocks the charging contacts. If you don't remove this it won't charge the batteries. Ran into this with my Dad who couldn't make it charge until he found the little plastic strip inside and removed it. Probably makes a lot of people think their charger is broken. It is not. When it's working there will be little lights that shine through the transparent plastic at the bottom of the charger under each battery (4 lights when 4 batteries are charging). This is an excellent charger. Charges at a decent speed without making the battery hot (heat is bad for batteries), turns off when charging is complete. Charges both AA and AAA. Don't push too hard when seating small AAA batteries, they sit inside the charger fairly lightly, they don't click in very far or very securely it's just the way this charger is with AAA's, just need to be gentle when seating the AAA's.

These batteries are the best investment I've made into this hobby. They're ready to use, but I didn't need them right when I got them, so I let them charge for a while. I've been able to use them in my Switch Pro Controller for long gaming sessions several times a day and they keep going. I keep one pair in my controller and the other pair charging in the situation that they die while I'm playing, but they recharge overnight without any issues, so I don't feel the effect of them dying that much. The plug on the charging deck folds upwards, which makes it a little harder to plug in, but easier to unplug. My advice is to push the charger upwards while plugging and downwards while unplugging. The charger is sturdy, not uncomfortably heavy but heavy enough that it doesn't feel cheap. Overall, I'd highly recommend this if you or someone you're shopping for goes through a lot of batteries.

Look no further. This is the best inexpensive charger for the best rechargeables available today. Panasonic Eneloops hold lots of power, and they keep their charge for a long time. Forget the alkaline batteries -- they don't hold as much juice, and you can only use them once! This charger really is excellent, too. It does two really important things: 1) It charges your batteries slowly, so that they stay cool when they're charging, and they'll work well for many hundreds of charge/discharge cycles. If you get something that will charge in 15 minutes, it will kill your batteries after 50 to 100 cycles, or sooner. 2) It charges your batteries individually, so that if/when one goes bad, you know which one is bad, and the other ones will still charge properly. Also, if you recharge batteries that have been discharged to different levels, it will recharge to the correct level for each one, without overcharging. As a bonus, this charger is small, and the prongs fold in, so that it travels well. Plus, it's not crazy expensive, so if you lose it, it's not awful. They charge a little on the slow side, but they're inexpensive enough that you can buy a few of them and charge several sets of batteries at once. I think I found the perfect Christmas present for most of my friends...

As always Eneloops are the best. This charger makes them even better, an inexpensive way to recharge your batteries, plus you get 4 AA batteries with this charger. The only thing this charger really needs is a better instruction manual. I wanted to test this charger out and i have found that some batteries won't charge in this charger. I threw in a NiMH battery that needed to be topped off but refused to do so. After talking to a few people that know about this charger the reason the charger would blink on an otherwise good NiMH battery it seems the battery wasn't as good as expected. The reason, high resistance when the battery has reached it's potential and would not work in high drain devices anymore. Those batteries would work fine in low drain devices but the only way to charge them is in a charger from Duracell, Energizer or some off name brand that would charge batteries no matter what. Many smart chargers will charge them too. The main reason would be that this charger is designed so a person wouldn't accidently throw in some alkaline batteries and create a mess, or a fire. So usually when you put some batteries in this charger and they constantly blink and won't charge, chances are you might just want to recycle the batteries. They certainly wouldn't work as good in your flashlight or camera but they might work just fine in your tv remote so the only way to keep the batteries and use them for your remote is to either find a basic NiMH charger laying around (or see if someone has one, i keep all mine) or to invest in a smart charger/analyzer and you can see how bad your batteries are by checking the voltage and how much mAh you can pull out of the battery on a discharge. The instruction manual doesn't say what causes the blinking but this review should give you some kind of indication if you decide to try to charge all your older NiMH cells. I have not tried to charge Duracell or Energizer cells in this charger, new ones anyway. The simple blinking light though can give you an indication right away if you got a problem with your NiMH battery and you can set those batteries aside and consider getting a new pack of Eneloops. Overall this is a great charger and a good starting point for those who haven't yet made the jump from alkaline batteries to rechargeables. If you are still not sure if rechargeables is for you, consider this, 10 cycles is pretty much all you need to cover the cost of buying a pack of Eneloops. Rechargeables won't work in every device and sometimes it takes a few cycles before the batteries reach full strength (fully discharging the battery and then recharging to full). Consider this as well, alkaline battery voltage sags or drops from 1.6 volts down to 1.5 volts then it continues to drop while NiMH (or Nickel Metal Hydride) maintain it's voltage from 1.4 to 1.2 volts and maintain that until the capacity is nearly empty. Often times if your device doesn't work correctly with rechargeables chances are that there's still plenty of capacity left in your alkalines. It's just that the device cuts out at a certain point (usually 1.2 volts) which is why rechargeables are not always ideal. I however found this to be pretty rare but it does happen. Some devices might do this to avoid discharging the batteries to the point where they would start leaking, others it's a voltage requirement. Sometimes you can just wire in an extra battery and use rechargeables there. It would be simple to do for RC cars, some of them have a place to stick the pack in or under if the clearance allows for that. Or the car could be disassembled and stick the extra battery somewhere for easy access. Most if all flashlights will work with Eneloops and in most cases is more ideal than using alkalines. If you need a flashlight for an emergency and the flashlight is dead (or the batteries leak in the flashlight) you might be left without a flashlight. Of course with Eneloops you have to check the voltage every 7-10 months anyway and i have found the best way to keep charged Eneloops in the car or the garage is to cycle them through. If you got extras and you deplete a set, grab the set from the car and the garage and flip them around. I actually prefer to just carry a small 2 AA Mag around with me wherever i go so i don't really need to keep a light in my car for emergencies. I do have an automotive light that uses 3AA's (it's so if it gets all greasy i won't care much) but it comes with a battery chamber so i can leave the light in the car and take the chamber with me to keep fresh batteries in. In a pinch though, i might need that stuff ready to go in the car for whatever reason so it might be a good idea to get a charger for the car that will charge Eneloops. I also got a solar powered charger, which only works with 4 batteries, the only drawback of the device. In all though, i recommend if you are still relying on alkalines to try this battery pack out. Use them in your frequent drained devices, if they don't work in the first device you try, try them in another device. To check the voltage, a multimeter will do that job.

Awesome! Can’t speak for how good these are just yet, but I’ve heard plenty of good things about them. Work just fine so far. This batch was produced in a Japanese factory as noted on the batteries, which I’ve heard is where the best Ni-MH batteries are produced. They came precharged. I appreciate that the charger can charge both Eneloop AA and AAA batteries, so I won’t have to buy a second charger after purchasing AAA batteries. I ordered a “used like new” listing from Amazon resale, and it came in the original sealed packaging. Cardboard was half chewed up, but it saved me three bucks. Came in a thick Amazon paper mailer with no protective wrapping.

I have only good things to say about Eneloop AA batteries and their individual cell charger. I've used Panasonic rechargeable batteries since Panasonic first released them for purchase in the US. A colleague of mine from Australia had the same batteries there. He had tested multiple brands and none were as reliable for either of us as Panasonic rechargeable AAs. Eneloop is no different. The only thing I would change is the AAAs (which this charger also charges): I wish they were stronger than 800mAh and could last longer. However, after charging, both AAs and AAAs stay charged for a long time in case of an emergency. I have not had one leak yet, something I cannot say about Duracells, which have ruined more flashlights, radios, and other appliances than I can recall.

These are the best rechargeable batteries money can buy. I've bought a lot over the years and these do exactly what they say. They retain about 70% of their power even several months or even a year in storage. But remember when you have a rechargeable item you need to recharge it at least three times a year for Max so that it could maintain a certain level of charge so it could consistently keep recharging over and over again. I left some rechargeable batteries of another brand and it took me all day just to charge them up and they're not working that well anymore because they never bothered charging them the first day I got them and didn't bother charging them for over 3 years and by then half the batteries wouldn't even hold the charge and I had to throw them out. So when you buy any brand of rechargeable batteries charge them immediately and even if you're not going to use them, charge them at least four times a year. This is a great product. Good durability, good capacity fits well and good longevity

I have not used the charger as yet (have been charging the batteries using another charger) but the batteries work well and are brilliant as usual, as expected from Eneloop batteries and Panasonic. These AA batteries like the AAA batteries maintain their charge better than others whether actively used or not. They have a great shelf life and maintain 70 % of their charge capacity even after 5-10 years(not sure whether its 5 or 10 as I have not stored or even used them that long) when stored without use as suggested by the manufacturer. Many experts and regular users also have tested and verified the claim to be true even if I personally did not get that chance. The pack of 4 with the charger is pretty expensive, but then again it should be more than worth it if the charger functions well (and charges the batteries safely and fast) and if the each battery actually lasts 2100 cycles each, I of course have not reached anywhere near so many use cycles just yet so cannot verify the veracity of the claim personally but the reputation with people speaks for itself. The batteries come per-charged (using solar energy) and can be used straight out of the box (not sure if the charge lasts the full cycle though on first use) Currently they are working perfectly fine, so overall a good buy.
