Stetson Reward, Color: Caramel (TSREWD-292487)

Just got the Stetson Reward hat and I am very pleased with my purchase. For under 35.00 (January 2015) it is an appropriate first hat for those thinking about buying a Panama hat. So first and foremost, this is not a Panama hat. This is a Shantung hat which is different.The fit of the hat is good, but just a tad bit large. I am a 7 1/4 hat size and knowing that Stetson hats run a bit large, I got the medium. It fits very well, but I could have probably gotten away with a large which would have been a bit loose. The look of the hat is exactly as pictured and looks pretty smart in casual clothes. My intent with this hat purchase is to see if I like the style and look of it and then purchase a much higher cost Brent Black made Panama hat in time for the summer.So in summary, if you are looking for a super high quality hat, this is not what you are looking for. If you are looking for an inexpensive, good looking hat for daily wear or to see if you want to get into the Panama hat scene, this is a great purchase.

I purchased this Panama style hat by Stetson recently. It is all that a Panama hat should be: white, light, stylish, and the price was very good at about $47.00. I bought it having just left a neat hat store in San Antonio and was looking at Panama replacements or cleaning and reblocking. They wanted $67 for the cleaning and blocking service. That is probably a deal with a wool hat that needed that service. So, I checked Amazon and found this hat through this company. I looked at their stock they have the top name brands for men's hats at what looked like good prices with many styles, colors and materials. Their choices and prices look good relative to the many other hats I've purchased at retail stores in several different states.

This hat was terrible. It was miss shaped and oversized. This was a wannabe Stetson.

the hat was fine, but Amazon lied about free shipping and then refused to refund it-like they DID the last time this happened. today i got a fairly rude man who gave me the runaround. we probably will not order from Amazon again.

I needed a new straw fedora. This was exactly what I was looking for. I do not like the rolled-up brim, but pretty much all fedoras come that way these days. So I grabbed my steam iron, ironed the sides of the brim flat, applied a lot of steam to the front and back, and held them in place so both front and back brims are snapped down.Good price, good fit, mine was made in Mexico (NOT in China), and it looks sharp!

This was a bargain, but it was damaged in the box. Improper handling could maybe have been prevented by marking a box "FRAGILE", AND OR THIS SIDE UP. Luckily it was in the top of the crown on both sides. Smashed by its own weight. I own a steamer and repaired it myself. Very carefully, and very gently. It does not look like it has been damaged at this point but too many of these get messed up enroute so often that I went to a hatter in a nearby town of Southfield and found a perfect fitting, perfect condition Stetson Natural Panama.

It looks perfect, light and airy. I wear it every day because I spent time outdoor. The quality is good for the price it cost. I like it because it can be wear with any clothes. I recommended this hat highly due to affordable and a must have.

I owned another straw hat for quite some time before purchasing this one. My older one was made from much thicker and heavier straw material. The Stetson Reward Shantung Straw hat upon arrival looked exactly like the picture, but the straw material was very thin and flimsy. The fit was fine but the slightest breeze blew the hat completely off my head and it blew around like confetti. I immediately put it in my car so I would not loose it. This occurred on what I would call a breezy day, not a particularly windy day. I would never even consider wearing this had at the beach or lake or on the water in a boat. I have requested a return and took it to the US Post Office. They charged $9.32 to return it, so I was not happy about the return policy. I am going to order another wide brim had from this same company in hopes that I can choose a heavier material that will not blow away.
