Avène Beige Mineral Tinted Compact SPF 50

This sunscreen is just what I've been searching for! When I walk in the mornings, I want something to smooth over and hide under eye circles and other facial imperfections while providing sunscreen protection. This convenient little compact holds a wonderful cream to powder-like finish foundation that is easily applied with the sponge-like applicator. It covers better than my favorite tinted sunscreen and has better sunscreen coverage. It is quick and easy to apply and perfect when you are in a hurry. This will also be perfect for travel. This is so much easier than applying sunscreen, waiting for it dry, then applying foundation, and looks so much better on my skin. Highly recommend!

TLDR: This sunscreen compact is a sensitive skin dream. If you are allergic to typical sunscreen or you have very sensitive skin. This Sun screen compact is a must have. No scent. Matte finish. It is by far the best thing I’ve ever found on Amazon. I love Avene products for my finicky skin period. Details on other Avene products below… I have super duper sensitive skin. I'm allergic to almost all sun protections on the planet. I have psoriasis, eczema, contact dermatitis and rosacea. And I’m sensitive to smells and chemicals. So with all that- I found this sun protection in a compact form that has a matte finish. I absolutely love this. It doesn't irritate my skin. It's easy to apply. It's great for travel. I use this when I'm driving long distance or flying because it helps protect my face from the dryness from the car or the plane. I don't know if that's a scientific fact, but it does make my skin less irritated after being in a car for 8 hours. This is my go-to sun protection. It doesn't have a smell. And it's not shiny. The only problem I have with this is the two colors are both too dark for my skin. I don't mind, though. The fact that it protects my skin from the sun doesn't have a weird smell and is comfortable for my stupid irritable skin is all that matters. I love the compact. It's especially great for outdoor events. Went to football game last year, and my skin was comfortable and protected. The attached photos (green top) what my face looks like without anything for comparison. (pink tank top) show what the beige looks like on very fair skin. And last, outdoor (football game). Other Exceptional products from avene for sensitive/ irritable skin The Xeracalm line is a life saver for someone with skin conditions. Xeracalm is great for easily irritated skin. The body wash and bar are my first line of defense when my skin is acting up. They essentially “put the fire out”. Xeracalm balm or cream are also nice for when my skins is angry. The thermal water mist is also a must have. It works great for calming my skin when it gets irritated but also cools it down when it is overheated from the rosacea. The soothing eye cream (which is discontinued now) was great for eyelid eczema. I found cicalfate plus works for my purposes on my eye area eczema. And the tolerance face balm is great when your skin is already upset. It helps to settle it down.

NOT MEDICAL ADVICE, I'm simply a woman in my 50s with rosacea and this is MY experience. Unlike most "tinted" sunscreens, this gives full, opaque coverage. So be sure the color matches your skin tone. I usually use a light/medium makeup base and this sunscreen works well for me. My natural redness is very light, but this covers it completely and I even need to put blush on top of it if I want to go with more than a "natural" no-makeup look. I have very sensitive skin that is extremely prone to flare up after just the tiniest bit of sun exposure. This doesn't irritate my skin at all and I can spend the day in full sun and not have a reaction. Smooth, creamy application - I use my freshly washed finger having just washed my face, not the included foam pad, for cleanliness and to not waste product, but that's obviously personal preference, not a slam against the pad. A little goes a long way, but I do use quite a thick layer over my cheeks to make sure I get the whole SPF. I've used it alone and also as a spot coverage for my cheeks over LaRoche Posey's SPF 50 clear, chemical sunscreen. I can't put it under my eyes; it settles into fine lines and magnifies them. Not enough to remove a whole star, but if I could take half a star away for that and for how it only comes in one opaque color I would. If your skin tone is medium/light, you're looking for full makeup-style coverage, and you have sensitive skin this is a MUST-TRY. I'll definitely buy it again when it runs out and that's not my usual experience with my skincare products.

It provides excellent coverage for any type of blemishes or scarring you have. It seems to protect from the sun as well so that’s all good. The only two things I don’t like about it is that at times it can be a little prickly on my face. I do have sensitive skin but sometimes it feels like I want to scratch my face. The other issue I have with it is that it is super goopy. Your face feels like you have a bunch of goop on it. Gets all over your clothes and on your hands, but other than that it’s fine. It also actually gives the appearance that you have highlighter on. Gives a nice shine. So if you don’t mind goofiness in the heavy feeling and possibly slight irritation you should definitely get it. The irritation is so mild it’s not preventing me from not finishing it. Although I won’t buy it again. I’ll just stick to traditional sunblock under my foundation.

Love this for reapplying sunscreen through the day - something I never ever used to do because I don’t like to press more things onto a dirty sweaty greasy face. I have both shades, one as my “primary” and one to add some contour/bronzing because the coverage is wonderfully full, a feature I also like. Yes it’s pricey, but I find it worth it. My extra tip for you is to replace the puff given with a cushion foundation puff: 1) it applies the product more evenly IMO 2) it has a strap so I don’t have to reach around the pad and get product on my fingers, make a mess, get the pad dirty, etc 3) gets into the smaller spaces like under eyes and around nose more easily. Excellent product I have multiples on reserve!

This works great. I consider myself a beginner at makeup and this introduced me to the word of compact foundations. Feels light can be cakey at times that’s why I didn’t repurchase. It’s more of a cream

I use this as a layer over my regular sunscreen when I want a little extra protection and a polished look. The tint blends beautifully and evens out my skin without feeling heavy or cakey. I have fair skin and the Beige shade works perfectly for me. It gives a soft, natural finish and is easy to reapply during the day. Great option if you want mineral sun protection with light coverage and a subtle glow.

Acquistato pensando fosse in polvere, in realtà è in crema. Nella confezione è presente la spugnetta per applicarlo. Pur essendo in crema una volta applicato sul viso rimane impalpabile. È un ottimo prodotto anche per le pelli mature. Non segna le piccole rughe e copre discretamente le discromie, lasciando un colore dorato e naturale sul viso.

This is the only product I can use on my face. Very gentle for my sensitive skin. Gret coverage and wonderful sun protection. Great product!

Très bonne crème mais, pas la bonne car l'autre version teint porcelaine n'existe plus, mais sinon fait bien l'affaire quand même.
