The amazon warranty if any and/or replacement for faulty parts by Gates only as far as I know. That is warranty of fitness.

will this work with the vg33r/SC engine?

Should, as long as the block and heads are not special to that engine. However, you had better check the enginepart numbers and be sure.

What does intetference engine application mean

Interference engine application refers to the fact that this, like many engines the pistons when at top dead center will contact the valves when open. If the timing belt should break while the engine is running severe engine damage will occur as the pistons come up and smash into the open valves.
