Good product
I bought 2 of these and have loved them. They're very sensitive but I feel it's only from the heat of your hand. My husband tried a toy football on the outside doorknob and it didn't go off. Of course movement will make it the alarm sound. But what else would you be getting them for if you don't want the alarm to sound?

Extra peace of mind.
These are fantastic for anyone who cannot afford a home alarm system. I had ordered a few several years ago and then family members wanted some. During the Riots of 2020, I couldn't find them in stock anywhere. Finally I came upon them on Amazon this year . I bought 3 more for family. It just gives a little extra peace of mind on my home Secruity.

Not very secure
Not very sturdy, alarm goes off independent of anyone trying to open door ! Save your money !

Difficult to adjust sounds
I bought 2 of these security bars. How you position the bar makes a difference. In one position the dog sound wouldn't scare a kitten away. Both sounds --the alarm and the dog bark just fade away after a few barks /alarm sounds....the sounds are hard to adjust as the adjusting screw is very small. If you move the bar around the sounds do get louder but then fade away. In the beginning with the 1st application the dog would not stop barking and the alarm would not stop alarming. They are security bars ..so I guess they would serve the purpose of blocking the opening of a door. The bars will delay entry but I doubt if they will scare anyone away. I have not decided if I will send them back.PS: I do have a security alarm...maybe I should get a "real" dog.

Plastic Head is cheaply constructed
Screws fell out - and won't stay in. Battery cover won't stay on. Didn't even bother to test dog barking feature because of these issues. If battery dangles out - wires will just pull out eventually.As for rest of unit - seems OK.
